Utpal Question by Utpal on Mar 15, 2023

Health
My wife is suffering from thyroid for the last 20 years and is taking thyroxin 88 mcg tablets on regular basis. Recently she has swelling in one of her finger. After test TSH test it has been found to under normal level. But the swelling is still there, although the pain in the finger has been decreased. Please help.
Ans: Swelling in the finger may not be due to hypothyroidism. It could be just because of certain some injury which got unnoticed or due to some overstraining.
Please relook at your routine work and consult a good physiotherapist
