Have you tried Dating apps? It may seem a bit intimidating at first...but it has yielded good results for few and many. No harm in making an attempt...even if nothing comes out of it initially, it will keep you in a level playing field with a possible added perk of friendships if it doesn't become romantic in nature...eventually something might click too...

Hello sir I secured 461117 rank in jee mains 2026 as an EWS student which is not well rank but I don't want to take drop for a year JEE presentation so I want to take an addmission in btech cse program and my home state is odisha so I want to know in which government engeneering colleges or best private colleges with low fee and well ROI can I take addmission in Colleges like VSSUT,OUTR,IGIT Sarang and silicon university bhubaneswar in CSE btech. Ans: Chances with CSE at VSSUT/OUTR seem dim/nil. IGIT CSE is difficult/borderline. But private options like Silicon University and other Odisha private colleges are realistic for CSE. In government colleges, target lower branches at Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology, Sarang, or lower-tier state colleges rather than top Odisha govt CSE.

Ans: She may get EEE/ECE and possibly some CSE-related branches in lower/newer IIITs, but CSE in top IIITs will be difficult.

I got 82.65 percentile and 271429 rank in jee mains, with this performance definitely not expecting some really good colleges but want cse or it branch not necessarily core cs branch. Any good colleges that provides good placement and roi? Please do tell already applied for jiit and ipu but no idea of others. P

Ans: Focus on proven mid-tier/private or state colleges, such as top IPU colleges, JIIT, GL Bajaj, MIT-WPU, COMEDK colleges, etc., for CSE/IT, and avoid low-tier colleges with weak placements.

Ans: Based on your score, CSE/IT/Data Science looks difficult at NIT Jalandhar because 2025 closing ranks were around 16k–25k, but Electrical Engineering is possible/borderline, and ECE/VLSI may be difficult but worth filling above EE. The preference order is NIT Jalandhar ECE/VLSI, EE, Mathematics & Computing if available, and then Instrumentation. Also try IIIT Una, IIIT Sonepat, IIIT Kota, IIIT Bhopal, and IIIT Nagpur for ECE/IT-related branches through JoSAA/CSAB. It is also advisable to have the following backup options: Thapar CSE/COE/AI, PEC Chandigarh lower branches, Chitkara CSE, LM Thapar School, CU Punjab/other state counselling options. My son secured 82.056699 percentile in the examination. His ranks are as follows. Common Rank List (CRL): 281165 OBC NCL Rank: 99902 We belong to the OBC category and Our home state is : Karnataka. Based on these ranks, we would like to know whether there is any possibility of securing an engineering seat in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, or Telangana. If there are any realistic chances, please advise on suitable colleges and branches so that we can plan our next steps accordingly.

Ans: Chances at NITs/IIITs are slim/dim/nil. But your son can realistically target private/state engineering colleges in Karnataka, Telangana, and Andhra Pradesh through COMEDK, KCET-equivalent, or management/state counselling routes. Branches such as ECE, EEE, Mechanical, Civil, and, in some colleges, CSE-related branches may still be available, depending on counselling and budget.
