Sir , I am a working man ( 52 age) in Govt. project , salary- 75k /m . I invested in MF / ULIP / Term Insurance / LIC etc Also invested in Stock market too and also investing in Crytocurrency ( CoinDX) . all total my corpus is almost 6000K . Now My question is that I submitted the retorn almost 49000/- as ITR , but didn't gt any refund .. My query is now how can i get refund of my TDS ? Pls suggest your valuable advise so that I will get refund my ITR . Thank you and expecting your good response.

Ans: 01. Have you got intimation u/s 143(1) informing you, whether there is a Demand by the department or it has processed your ITR with Refund ?
The process of Refund will start only after that.
02. You are also requested to check, whether you have filed ITR with all complete details & these details are also supported by Form 26AS/AIS/TIS of the department.
03. If you have not received any intimation (Ref.point 01 above), you are requested to confirm from your site, whether your ITR has been processed or not. You can also request the department for re-issue Intimation u/s 143(1), in case assessment is complete.

Sir, I have filed my IT return on 26th July 2023 where the refund was Rs.66000/- I have filed a revised return on 28th July 2023 with a refund amounting to Rs.112000/- Today i.e on 9th August I have received refund of Rs.66000 as per my original ITR file but not as per revised ITR. Kindly guide how to get the refund as per revised ITR filed by me.

Ans: Please wait it out a bit. The revised ITR also needs to be processed (hoping that you would've e-verified it too) and then only the balance of refund will come. If you don't get it in say 15-20 days, then head over to your IT website login and put the details in the Grievance tab.

ear Sir I have filed the ITR for my deceased father as a Legal Heir for AY2023-34 and there was a TDS refund. However the SB account (linked to PAN of the deceased) and ITR Portal login was closed by the Bank & IT dept respectively and no further refunds can be had into this account. The refund from IT dept failed citing bank account not validated (error code 155) with a responde to reinititiate the refund/reissue I have subsequently tried multiple times to intitiate the refunds as a Legal heir, mentioning my prevalidated Bank Account No (which is visble when i select the refund option and aadhar verified during submission via OTP), but every time the refund inititiated by me has failed citing Bank account not prevalidated (error code 155) I have raised multiple grievances, but all the responses are closed without giving a resolution which should work Please advice what i can do to claim this refund. Should I file a revised ITR (putting my bank account instead if this is possible) Regards Subha Lahiri

Ans: Legal heir needs to file the Income tax return for the income earned till the date of death. The legal heir has to register himself at the income tax website for filing the return on behalf of the deceased. I understand you have not filed ITR using separate login as legal hair and return can not be processed.

I am aged 49 with a 27 year career in IT - 21.5 years as individual contributor and rest in leadership role. In my last employment, I was asked to go after successfully executing a project; later on, I found that they hired me just for that project only. For the last 4 months, I have been applying for jobs but it looks like that my age goes against me. I have completed a four month course in AIML, learning new programming languages and keeping myself abreast with the latest trends. The differentiating aspect of my leadership is being hands-on; while the team gains confidence, my peers and leaders feel that I am being too indulgent. In some of the interviews that really went well, I was rejected as my technical capabilities seems to have threatened the incumbents. I have achieved the financial freedom and doesn't require a salary to keep the kitchen fires buring but I crave an engagement to retain my knowledge. Please guide
