Which tax regime is beneficial now for income 15L with investment of 1.5 L in 80C , 50000 NPS, 25000 80D and loan interest of more than 2L?

Ans: The old tax regime would be effective if you are able to claim the above deductions.

Hi Sir Hope you are doing well. My CTC is 27 LPA, I Invest 1.5L in 80C, 50K in NPA, 85K School fees, My Age is 45 and planning to take home loan of 40L, No Other liabilities. Request to pls tell which tax regime should i go for? Thanks In Advance.

Ans: Assuming your loan of 40L with duration of 15yrs , the EMI will be 40k approx with interest component being 3.36L for the first year. The Old regime will still be beneficial in this case.

After today's Budget by FM Which TAX regime to choose if Income is around 18 lacs PA. Having Home Loan Principal 1.50 Home loan Interest 2 lacs Other 80C - 1.50 lacs 80 D - 40K

Ans: Kindly make sure, that you are talking about above details for F/Y 2025-26 only.
Broadly speaking, New Tax Regime may be more suitable in this case.

Sir my daughter scored 73.8 in 10+2 but maths percentile is very low @ 46. She wish to appear in BITSAT. Can she be eligible if she improves her score in improvement exam to be held in July by CBSE?

Ans: Eligibility for BITS Pilani Admission:
Minimum Requirement: Candidates should have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (for engineering courses) and secured at least 75% aggregate marks in these three subjects or be among the top 20 percentile in their respective board exams.

BITS also requires minimum 60% marks in each of these subjects (Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics).
Yes! If she improves her aggregate in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics to 75% or above, she will meet the minimum eligibility criteria for BITSAT.
But my suggestion is to avoid engineering, because almost all streams in engineering require B.Sc. level math.
