Ans: Deepak Sir, At VITEEE 13,000, she should prioritise VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE-specialisations, IT, ECE, likely Category 2–3; core CSE Vellore Category 1 is difficult. VIT counselling Phase-1 covers ranks up to 20,000.

At JEE Main CRL 46,783, general female, top NIT CSE is unlikely, but try NITs: ECE/EEE/Mechanical/Civil/Production in mid/lower NITs; IIITs/GFTIs: CSE/IT/ECE chances may improve in later rounds/CSAB. JoSAA covers NITs, IIITs and GFTIs through one platform.

The best choices are VIT Vellore/Chennai CSE/IT/ECE over lower NIT non-preferred branches. Backups she can have are CSAB, state counselling & 2-3 more reputed private colleges. All the Best for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!

Hello guru ji! My son got 276769 as CRL in JEE Mains. He also got 71000 rank in VITEEE exam. Where can he get admission in either government colleges or good private colleges.

Ans: With JEE Mains CRL 276,769, government college chances through JoSAA/CSAB are minimal (NITs/IIITs close below 1 lakh), but you can get newer NITs (Sikkim, Manipur, Meghalaya) in core branches via CSAB special rounds. With VITEEE rank 71,000, admission is possible at VIT Chennai/Bhopal/AP in Categories 3–5 for CSE/other branches (Category 1/2 very difficult). Have 3-4 more backup options instead of relying only JoSAA/VIT. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!

Ans: Murali, with a VITEEE rank of 28,000 at VIT Vellore, getting Category 1 seats is extremely unlikely since Category 1 closes around rank 10,000 for the Vellore campus, with CSE at approximately 6,000 and most branches under 15,000. You will likely get Category 2–3 seats at Vellore/Chennai for ECE/Mechanical or Category 1 for CSE at VIT Bhopal/Amaravati (closes 30,000–32,000). Sir with 90.7 is it possible to get ai/ml in pes electronic city with 90.73 percentile in jee mains

Ans: Jeshith, with a 90.73 percentile in JEE Mains, getting AI/ML at PES Electronic City is very unlikely but possible as a slim chance. CSE/AI/ML typically requires a 92+ percentile through the JEE Main quota, and a 90.33 percentile CSE at Electronic City was reported as "very dim/slim"; a 90.73 percentile roughly translates to a 1–1.2 lakh rank, while PES CSE closing ranks are between 21,500–42,600. Have 3-4 more backup reputed private college options in and around your state apart from your State Counselling. All the Best for Your Prosperous Future!

Hello sir my brother CRL is approximately 1.79 lakh in jee mains, Delhi home state and general category. he wanted guidance regarding college options through JoSAA, JAC Delhi, and IPU or other. please suggest best possible options?

Ans: With a CRL of 1.79 lakh (General, Delhi HS) through JoSAA NIT/IIIT & JAC-Delhi, chances are extremely limited. Your brother can try through CSAB/JAC-Delhi and it is advisable to have have 3-4 reputed colleges (such as SNU, etc.) in and around Delhi instead of relying only JoSAA/CSAB/JAC. Ans: You have chances in lower/newer NITs/IIITs core branches via JEE Main; with 87 in Advanced, IIT lower branches/new IITs may be possible (borderline), but CSE is unlikely.
