Sir I have taken vrs from central govt psu and getting pension from CCA. I am getting medical allowance from psu. The form 16 I got from CCA and psu. The CCA form 16 is ok but against in psu form 16 I am confused. They have shown medical allowance payment of Rs 29350/- as Standard deduction under section 16(ia) but in 26AS it is showing amount paid/credited 29351 and tax deducted as 1527. I have opted new tax regime and the part of my pension amount comes under 15% bracket. Another thing is this 29351 I have not received in my bank account. Pls guide. Thanks and regards, Prasanna

Ans: Kindly contact PSU (employer) and try to resolve the issue. If form 16 is downloaded from traces portal and given to employee, there are no chance of such error.
