Sir, An IPO has been allotted automatically through ICICI Securities even though I did not subscribe for it. Now they are asking me to pay the allotment amount and have blocked my entire trading balance. I do not have sufficient funds for this. Please advise what should be done next and how this can be resolved?

Ans: Chances at top NITs are very slim. But she may have some chance at lower/mid NITs or newer NITs for CSE/IT, depending on exact JoSAA cutoffs and round movement. Consider other lower branches for better chances of admission in further rounds.

Ans: The said company is under liquidation and liquidator is already appointed, for receipt of money depends upon the surplus fund if left after all procedings of liquidations completed i.e. paying all dues statutory / creditors etc, liquidator will distribute the funds in the share holding pattern if any surplus is left after paying off all dues.
