Hi, I want to enter stock market with the goal of long term investment and creation of wealth. At the moment however, i am listening there is chances of market going further down because of various reasons. Can you please suggest how much correction you are seeing in the market and what is the good time to enter and start purchase in some good stocks. Also, if possible suggest 3/4 good stocks.

Ans: We can never time the market. buy in staggered fashion.
buy large cap mutual funds to start with.

Currently, the stock market is on upward trend. As per reports, the market is due for correction. At this level is it feasible to invest in the market? I seek your kind advice in the matter. Also let me know at what level it will be prudent to invest. I prefer to invest only in fundamentally strong stocks for a minimum period of 3 to 4 years. Shall be grateful should you refer 4 to 5 fundamentally good stocks other than B2 and H2 stocks. Thank you and looking forward to your kind reply by return mail as per your convenience.

Ans: You can invest in stocks such as Bata, Britannia, Bharti Airtel, Ashok Leyland, Crompton Consumers and Dabur, Kansai Nerolac, Sudarshan Chemical, HDFC AMC, ICICI Bank. Buy the stocks in staggered manner for long term.

I am a new and first time investor (not a trader) right now I see market correction as a good entry for me and I got fet questions, 1.how long do we foresee this correction to happen (in weeks or months)? 2. Should I take entry in small steps across potential stocks so that I can average out? 3. I think this is the right time for this question - what potential stocks can give me 40 to 50% returns in next 12 to 15 months and 70 to 80% in next 24 months (this is a very optimistic number as I already see some good stocks had come down by 20 to 30%)

Ans: 1) Corrections are always temporary, and the growth is real for long term so now the downside is limited.
2) Yes, if you have Rs. 100 start investing Rs.25 and keep adding 25 in every fall.
3) All Blue Chips and then Mid Cap Companies. (Choose quality always)

Look at state counseling options for government colleges.
Consider private universities with good placement records.

Ans: With 93.10 percentile in JEE Mains 2025 and OBC-NCL category, your son's expected category rank would be around 40,000 - 45,000 (CRL) and 10,000 - 12,000 (OBC-NCL Rank).
Yes, he has a chance of getting a seat in lower branches in Tier-2 NITs, especially in later rounds of JoSAA and CSAB counseling.
