I am not sure if you mean you both have romantic feelings for each other or just friendly. If it’s romantic, I am not sure I can help because in that case, you should be working on your marriages and figuring out what’s lacking in your relationship that you are seeking love and attention from a colleague. If the feelings are romantic, moving on from your colleague should be the least of your worries and working on your marriage your priority.

Ans: To improve placement and exam performance, such as GATE, your son should focus on strong core concepts (Networks, Signals, Control Systems, EDC), coding (C/C++/Python), Data Structures & Algorithms, MATLAB/Simulink, basic VLSI/Embedded Systems, internships/projects, aptitude practice, and consistent GATE-level problem solving.
However, let your son decide what is best for him. Ask your son to talk with seniors or keep in touch with pass-out students so they can tell what the tech industry actually needs. I would like to suggest one more thing. Please read the Wanted/Placement advertisements published in English daily papers on a regular basis to understand the recent trends.
To face upcoming challenges, ask him to master as many AI tools as possible.
