Sir, Recently I have underwent minor cardio issue and put two stunts. 2 teeth are shaking and little pain is there. shall i go for removal.

Ans: Hello
You can certainly get them extracted. A few precautions need to be taken.
You need to get prior approval from your treating Cardiac surgeon/physician. If your health parameters are all normal he will give you his approval. He would ask you to stop taking blood thinners (if you're taking any) a couple of days before the scheduled extractions. Also you need to take a course of antibiotics.
It’s very important that you keep both your Dentist and physician informed about your heart condition and your impending tooth extractions.

Sir, My Name is Jayanth Ten days before my lower left side from half of last second grinding teeth suddenly broke and fell, I did before or after have severe pain but last week I had mild sensation and while laying down for sleep a little more sensation and slight pain for two three days and so I got appointment from near by Dentist and after checking Doctor told that seeing X Ray is roots nerves are started damaging so as soon as possible Root canal if done means we can save teeth or if delayed means than only option will be to remove teeth. Any other option is there

Ans: Hello Jayanth
It appears from your description that part of your tooth has broken exposing the inner pulp (nerves & blood vessels, mainly)
It is possible that the tooth broke because it had already started decaying some time back. In any case, once the pulp is exposed the only way to save the tooth is by Root canal treatment. So your dentist has advised you correctly. There is no other option.

Dear Dorctor, I did RCT for my (right upper) 6th around 3 years ago & 7th around 1 year ago my 8th tooth removed over 25 yrs ago & now I am 65. Though 6th is ok but 7th some times paining. Do I need to go for RCT again ? Kindly respond. Thank u

Ans: Hello
Your dentist will most likely take xrays to check if one of the mentioned teeth is reinfected. In which case retreatment may be necessary. However please note that upper molar teeth can sometimes show misleading signs of tooth infection if sinuses are inflamed. This happens because the roots of the upper molars are in close contact with the sinuses. So your dentist will try to rule out that angle, too.
The exact cause of your occasional pain can only be determined after careful clinical examination and correlating the findings with xrays and your history.

Hi, i have dental issues , my upper left side of the jaw has teeth no 4&5 on which RCT is in progress since march 2023. it was very painful for tooth4 and mild for 5, so i changed dentist on 1 may and new dentist took full month of may to do RCT for 4 & 5 again. now pain has disappeared in 5 but remains in 4. the new dentist says that there is a pocket between 4 &3 and i have copy of xray that shows that. i m not sure this dentist is telling the right reasons, as some other dentist says that condition of 4 is so bad that filling inside it is visible from outside and extraction is last resort.. my question is what should i do? protecting a tooth at all costs is more important or shall i go for extraction.

Sorry to hear that even after two months your RCTs have not been completed to your satisfaction. There could be a variety of reasons why this is happening. Despite the impressive advances in Dental treatment procedures we still see some cases that are untreatable. And while we spare no effort to save natural teeth, in some cases extraction becomes unavoidable. What is important is that you get complete relief from pain/discomfort. Whether to extract it or continue with the treatment is a call you have to take in consultation with your dentist.

Ans: Chances with top NITs/IIITs are almost nil. You have a realistic chance at lower/newer NITs (branches like Civil, Mechanical, Metallurgy, Production, Biotechnology, Chemical) and some lower-demand IIITs in later JoSAA/CSAB rounds.

Ans: Chances with top NITs/IIITs are almost nil. Try with lower-demand branches like Civil, Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, Chemical, and Biotechnology in lower NITs/IIITs. Your exact chances depend much more on your SC rank than on AIR.

Good afternoon sir, I am a male general candidate and have secured a rank of 40,117 OS (97.46%ile). I am genuinely very confused and scared because I can't get (for BTech) CSE core, CSE specialisation or ECE at any good and reputable colleges (as far as I have researched). What good colleges do I have for the above mentioned branches?

Ans: Try CSE / CSE Specialization / ECE with newer IIITs and lower/mid NIT circuit branches. For example, IIIT Kottayam / Dharwad / Kalyani / Bhagalpur / Ranchi / Agartala / Dharwad for CSE/IT-related branches with homestate and female quota.

Ans: Yes, if you are a female candidate, IGDTUW has a good chance for “any branch” under the Delhi general quota. JAC Delhi 2025 Round-1 Delhi General closing ranks were around CSE 43,914, IT 55,952, ECE 69,167, MAE 80,688, and DMAM 82,511, so at CRL 1,83,797, top branches are difficult in normal rounds. But official JAC Delhi publishes round-wise cutoffs, and later/spot rounds can go lower depending on vacancies. For JoSAA NIT/IIIT/GFTI CSE/ECE/Electrical, chances are very low at this CRL for the general category. Strategy: fill IGDTUW all branches, DTU/NSUT lower branches if allowed, JAC spot round, IPU counselling, IIITD unlikely, and backups like MAIT, MSIT, BPIT, USAR, JIIT, AKTU and reputed private colleges.
