I was treated for chiken gunya fever 2 months back. Since then though there is no fever I am have ng severe joint pains. Particularly in both wrists and fingers and both ankle joints and toes. I am unable to practice my daily yoga and walking too .I am 70 years. No BP or diabetes. Thank you KLNarasimham Visakhapatnam

Ans: Chikungunya pain usually persist for many weeks.
Can you please get Uric acid and other lab tests such as serum calcium and KFT done. While you do not have any diagnosed condition, it is better to rule out any other condition which may exist.

Hi, i am having pain (from long time) in hand joints, knee , back , Shoulder, toes, i can not stand for long time , i cant walk for long distance, i have detected sugar (type-2) last year, when detected it was 375, now after medication fasting 150, post meal-270. i also have pain in eyes (work on Pc) , headache due to eyes pain. there is so much pain in dealing with day today. may i know from disease i am suffering from, i am very stressed because of this pains on daily basis, i can't explain in words. pls help me with your suggestion.

Ans: Hello Anonymous,
High sugar levels can cause pain in the body as well as eyes as it affects the nerves. This is a condition called as diabetic neuropathy. Even post medication your sugar levels are still quite high.
It is highly advisable for you to first consult an excellent nutritionist. This can make a huge difference to your sugar levels and hence pain.
Then you can explore alternate therapies like yoga, sujok, homeopathy etc.
I know of an excellent nutritionist that has helped a lot of diabetic patients. Please share your number here and I will ask her team to connect with you.

Ans: Pain in the left Palmar joint and left toe joints can be a part of arthritis
Please revisit your dietary discipline.
Avoid too much of protein particularly animal protein
Bring in a balanced nutrition through complex Carbohydrate, adequate and easily digestible protein and healthy poly unsaturated fat

Dear Doctor, I had suffered viral fever in the third week of November, and since then suffering from Joint pains- in my ankles, elbow, wrists, knees, finger joints, etc. I tried Homeo medicines for a month, but it continued after the effect of the medicine was over. Any cure for the same?

Ans: Hello Paul,
Joint pains may occur after a viral fever. However usually within 6 weeks it should settle.
Have you done your blood tests recently especially for Vitamin D3, Vitamin B12, uric acid etc? If not please do a complete blood profile to know if anything is amiss.
Ayurveda can help with this. They can recommend certain oils you can apply on your joints and also give you some nutrition modifications which can reduce inflammation in your body and thereby reduce your joint pains. Example if sugar, dairy and gluten containing products can be curtailed it usually helps a lot.
You may also once visit a physiotherapist. Some mobility exercises shown by them may help you too.
I feel with consultation with an Ayurveda doctor and a physiotherapist should help you quite a lot.

Hello sir I am 33 years old lady taking treatment from rheumatologist for the past 3 years. But still I am facing pain in my right hand wrist which is not bearable. How to get rid of this pain please guide me. Whether I can switch over to homeopathic treatment? Which treatment is better sir and I am also facing lot of burning sensation in my upper abdomen which leads to constipation and stomach pain.

Ans: Hello . Thank you for your query. Considering the pain is only on right wrist , I would suggest one more opinion from Physiotherapist to rule out carpel tunnel syndrome. For burning sensation in upper abdomen ,please take gastroenterologist opinion.

Hello sir this is Nishat , I passed my 12th in the year 2023 with a good percentage but however I couldn’t see it for chemistry exam. So obviously I failed in that subject so I decided to again reappear for that exam and in 2024 I gave betterment exam from my state board in the subject biology and chemistry. However I scored far better in biology than last time but (Chemistry) I don’t know maybe it’s it’s because of the issues that we have with our board. I couldn’t score good marks so even I had decided to give (Chemistry) separately and so in 2024. I again set for (Chemistry) exam under nios I and I scored 80 so now the thing is that I’ll be having two mark sheet so while applying in need I cannot possibly select the code 2 because although I already have the state board certificate but the NIOS certificate is not yet out and it will be out by end of the March sir can I possibly select the code one that is appearing or will it create problems while counselling or is there any other option please help me out sir , I’m very desperate like I have prepared for neey for the last two years and I don’t want to put my hard work into vain. Please Sir help me out

Please select code 1 without any fear. Focus more on your study. But considering your fear and anxiety with the chemistry subject, it is recommended that you choose other options than NEET. This time you appear without any fear.
