I am suffering from Allergic Rhinocitis. I have been taking Bilastine tablets and using nasal sprays for several months. It brings only temporary relief. Is there any prevention or permanent cure?

Ans: Allergen has to be identified .This could be not only inhalants but also in the food ,particularly Milk protein.Avoid the allergants if identified.Yoga and Pranayama helps to get over the problem.Please consult a good Yoga therapist

Any kind of allergies should be treated well and the root cause should be cured. I recommend you visit an Ayurvedic practitioner.

Meanwhile, add more of papaya, lime, oranges and pineapple to your diet; they are rich in vitamin C and will help with your allergies.

Have honey water (use mildly warm water), preferably in the morning.

To clear your sinuses, you can try the yoga practice of Jal Neti under guidance from a certified professional.

Also, breathing exercises such as Anulom Vilom work wonders for those with sinus issues.

Start with 5-10 minutes and go up to 45 minutes daily, in open spaces like a garden early in the morning.

If you spend a lot of time indoors in an AC environment, it is advisable to either use the AC with dehumidifiers or invest in an air purifier.

Using essential oils such as eucalyptus oil or mint oil can also be helpful.

My Mother has a problem since 8-9 months. She is suffering from Nose blockage. Many medicines has tried but invain. Suggest any home remedy or medicines.

Ans: Nose blockage could be due to deviated septum or allergic rhinitis where it could be due to polyp. Maintain the humidity in the bedroom helps, to decrease the symptoms down.keep a, steamer with one small menthol crystals in the side of your bed before going to bed

I have chest congestion, shorter breath problem. I have been facing this problem for 4-5 years continuously. When winter about to end i suffered by cold and cough and this cold and cough turn into chest congestion and breath shorting problem. My Doctor sa says it is allergic problem. So is there any aasan or Yog kriya by i can cure my problem. Please suggest. Thank you.

Ans: You can start including Sun Salutations as they help improve circulation and breath through the congestion. Kriyas like Neti are also useful for allergic rhinitis. You can also include Kumbhaka Pranayama and Bhramari in your routine as both are useful for sinus congestion. However, the best way to manage allergies is to reduce your exposure to allergens - this could be by wearing a mask, using air purifiers and deep cleaning of the house every spring and autumn.

Ans: There is no " permanent cure" but symptoms can be controlled well with under the management of an allergy specialist. A viral flu can be a trigger for an allergy. Flu vaccination may help.

Dear Sir/ Mam, I am 53 years old and for the past 3 -4 months I am suffering from 'Sinus'. ENT Dr has given medicine and told if I did not get relief , I have to go for minor operation. I have used Allopathy, Homeopathy and also Ayurveda medicine, all for approx 2 months separately with no such better results. I am suffering from total nasal blockage, continuous sneezing and cough intermittently. It spoiled my sleep, daily routine. May please suggest what to do.

Ans: Sinuses need to have free flow of draining
Practising yoga will help in this proper drainage. Regulating breath through certain Pranayama techniques will augment healing.
Practising hummibg/Singing helps in this process too

For NEET 2026, there is still time. We can't predict any changes in the NEET exam at this moment, so we must wait for the notification from the NTA. It might be better for you to take an isolated exam through NIOS.

Sir I wanted to add something I gave improvement from again maharashtra board And want to give give Isolated exam from. Maharashtra board am i eligible for this for just one subject examination from Maharashtra board And sir I am not accepting the improvement result so I will go with 2024 result only

Ans: Hi Rebel, you cannot determine your marks. Normally, the regulatory body will consider only the latest RESULTS and NOT highest marks from two different attempts. Please review the guidelines of the Maharashtra board and FOR BIOLOGY and proceed accordingly.
