Hello Doctor, I was diagnosed with COVID-19 during the first wave of the pandemic in 2020. It was a close shave for me, and I am still suffering from the after-effects of the medication. Consequently, I have developed an intense paranoia about the disease and keep checking for news that talk about some or other wave of COVID. (I even have a Google Alert set). It would help me immensely if an expert like yourself could clarify if there's a chance of COVID coming back. People tell me that a more dangerous variant is on the horizon. If this is true, are there any precautions I can take to avoid contracting the disease given that my immunity is quite low?

Ans: Covid is a virus like any other Virus
We talk only about the virus
Virus is a non living entity
It draws life from the host
It is the host which plays a role in bringing in the virulence either by reacting - hyper/hypo or responding to the virus. So it's time we start looking at the host and ways and means to improve the responses. There are many viruses like Covid
Which will come and go
But we as host need to prepare ourself and meet them in the right way and at the right space without succumbing to it
