I have acl.tear iny left leg...Got mri also ..says so ...what should I do..Dr suggested to undergo operation..

Ans: Hi,

If the degree of tear is more you might need to consider surgery. But if it’s less than physio rehab will help

Hello Doctor, My wife is 40, fell from scooter and had a ACL tear. She is on medication and small therapies. But still limping while walking with the help of walker. Doctor adviced for review after a month to confirm surgery is needed or not. Is there any way we can do away with surgery with full ACL tear Thanks Suresh

Ans: ACL injury can be managed with Physiotherapy. Ans: Hi Santosh,
The only permanent solution to a knee pain is doing knee exercises everyday. You can start with strengthening exercises for quadriceps and hamstrings muscle
