I am 67 years, a vegetarian ,no alcohol, no smoking. I do walk for 45 minutes every. On Metosartan for BP. I keep getting chest pain Off and On. Consulted cardiologist who did Echo, ECG, Treadmill test. Everything is normal. he says it could be due to gas in the abdomen, Abdomen scan reveals everything is normal, except slight prostate enlargement. Doctor has prescribed medication for acidity. Pain in chest appears appears while climbing stairs or on any higher slopes. Is it due to any artery blockage? Are there any non-invasive tests which can reveal it?

Ans: Blocks in arteries can be picked up through Angiogram Another option could be get your BP monitored 24 hrs through Ambulatory BP check up ,This assesses the risk in getting a cardiac set back

I am 37 years old male.from last 2-3 years i am facing breathing shortness during running,fast walking,climbing stair(sometimes chest pain also). 2 years ago due to this i consulted with cardiologist,i was go through lipid profile test,ct scan of lung,ecg,ecocardiogram,ct engiography of heart..all report was normal. except ecg.but after doing ct engiography doctor said everything is normal no blockage. But after 2 years of these test i am facing same problem. I don't smoke,occasionally drink.(last 6 month 2-3 times i drink).i had corona positive in past but i dont hv to go hospital. What should i do now?

Ans: Covid infection along with Covishield Vaccination is bringing out different disorders
Start practising Pranayama through a proper school of yoga
Also start going for regular walks. Connect walking steps with your normal capacity of inhalation and exhalation
For eg. Observe while Walking, for many steps in your capacity to inhale happens and same with exhale. Maintain this pace all though your walk
Slowly over a period of days increase the number of steps targeting the ones during exhalation first and then the inhalation

I am age of 50 yrs , since from last year I got chest pain I went to doctor ie cardiologist ,he has done ECG,eco, tmt and even angiography all the test are negative, as he suggested that u got BP I started BP tablets,as Taxolac am 40 promoted xl 25, which I am taking last 6 months, but still my chest is paining I went recently he told don't worry it is musal pain, so what to do with my chest pain I am doing daily 1 hr walk, all the exercises and some yoga, what to do I am worried. Pls guide me

Ans: Please continue the medications prescribed.
Alongside, may consider some physiotherapy or possibly a consultation with a family physician.

My age is 66 yrs. I am diabetic patient for the last 25+ years andy sugar level though fasting remain normal but pp remain around 200 and sometime 200 plus now-a-days. During the last four years myself diagnosed high pressure and taking bp medicine regularly. During the last couple of months I feel chest pain on right side during walking, heavy breath and blur on right eye. If I stop walking for 2-3 minutes the problem vanish and again problem starts if I restart walking. I did ECG, echo, color Doppler as advised by doctor and prescribed bp medicines twice a day. On asking Dr. said there is no serious problem but due to high pressure this problem persists. Kindly suggest if I go for any further investigation of chest and medication.

Ans: What you have is exertional angina.
You. Need to consult a cardiologist and you may require to do a stress test in a hospital setting

I am a 12th student now in state board of tamil Nadu and I am a government school student what is the minimum requirement for me to join mbbs in AFMC medical College

Ans: The following requirements are mandatory for admission to AFMC.

Age: 17-24yrs
Academic qualitfication: FIRST ATTEMPT with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology/ Bio-technology taken simultaneously and securing not less than 60% of the aggregate marks in these three science subjects taken together and not less than 50% marks in English and 50% marks in each of the science subjects. They must have also passed an examination in Mathematics of the tenth standard.
Candidates seeking admission for MBBS course at AFMC Pune will have to mandatorily qualify the NEET UG 2024 Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA). 11. Eligible candidates who are interested to join AFMC, Pune to pursue the MBBS course will have to mandatorily register and apply for AFMC, Pune on DGHS

The shortlisted candidates will be called for screening which comprises of Test of English Language and Reasoning (ToELR), Psychological Assessment Test (PAT), Interview and Medical Examination at AFMC, Pune.

ToELR & PAT - Test of English Language and Reasoning (ToELR) in the form of Computer Based Test (CBT) and also Psychological Assessment Test (PAT) to be conducted at AFMC, Pune only for candidates shortlisted for interview.
