Hi Dr Ashit, Whenever i have physcial exertion (even walking for 30 mins, or light activity), i develop chest pain on left side; been to ER and done all possible tests like ECG, Echo, TMT and even CT Angiography, but no issues found. This has been happening for last 10 years and visited hospitals many times for this. Speaking on phone while walking also induces chest pain, which goes away after 12-24 hours. What should i do to diagnose and fix this problem? Grateful if you can help

Ans: Based on your score, your chances in regular JoSAA for NIT/IIIT are very low. For the West Bengal home state, NIT Durgapur SC cutoffs are usually far below 34,291 for B.Tech branches; even lower branches are difficult. However, still register for JoSAA + CSAB Special Round, because CSAB fills vacant seats after JoSAA. Your possible long-shot options may be GFTIs or very low-demand branches if seats remain vacant, but do not depend on them. It is better to have the following backups: Techno Main Salt Lake, Heritage Institute of Technology, IEM Kolkata, BP Poddar, Narula Institute, Haldia Institute of Technology, Adamas University, Brainware University, and Sister Nivedita University.
