Ans: Hello Anonymous - excellent question ! This is a because historically, the nation has laid a lot of focus on economy growth via business, corporates and off late - startups. It requires grass root level change in the way we perceive the later, which, unfortunately are classified as hobbies alone. Ans: Deciding whether to start a business or work as an employee can be a tough call. It really depends on what you want, your personal values and the level of risk you're comfortable with.

Entrepreneurship has its perks, like being your own boss and making your own schedule. You can also potentially earn more and have the satisfaction of creating something new. However, it can also be risky, with no guarantee of success, and can require a lot of work and effort.

On the other hand, being an employee has benefits like a steady paycheck, benefits, and opportunities for career advancement. However, it can also feel limiting and may not allow for as much personal or professional growth.

So, it really comes down to what you value most. Do you want the freedom and potential financial gain that comes with running your own business? Or, do you prefer the stability and security of a regular paycheck and benefits? It's important to think about what you want and what you're willing to risk to get it.

Hello Sir, I want to become a businesswoman and have ideas for a startup. I know that for a business, having skills is more important than a degree. However, my parents want me to go to university. I have shortlisted two courses and have been selected for them at MIT WPU- BBA LLB and BSc Economics. LLB because I also have an inclination towards civil services. I had discussed with a teacher who said that Bsc Economics will give me a business understanding better than BBA, however, the career opportunities in that are lesser than that of BBA LLB and my initial preference was BBA LLB itself. What will be suitable for me, I am not able to make up my mind? Thank you.

Ans: Please keep in mind that, according to a recent report in the 'Times of India', most law graduates prefer to work in corporations rather than practice law in courts. You can pursue a BBA LLB and prepare for Civil Services as you wish (or) work as an assistant to any senior in any of the organizations to obtain expertise. Please keep in mind that you will need to choose your specialization for your LLB, whether it is Civil, Labour, Taxation, Business, Corporate, or any other. Also, you should stay up with the latest amendments. If you want to appear for Civil Services Exam, you should conduct extensive research before beginning your preparations. There is no hard and fast rule that you have to ask a certain set of questions. You can ask anything you like- things that are important to you, deal breakers, attributes you would want in your partner, etc. Anything that isn't rude, or too intrusive is okay. For instance, you can ask him what are his hobbies, passions, and career plans; does he like to travel, what are his values, his religious and political stance, does he drink or smoke, is he outgoing or loves to spend most of his time indoors, family plans, does he want kids, etc. These are all questions that will help you get a better picture of who this person is- but most importantly, let the conversation flow on its own. You do not have to make a questionnaire. You will get a fair idea of what to ask once you start talking.

How to work on this? It is difficult for me to tell you exactly why it is happening. It can also arise from a lack of validation. To manage it, you can focus on self-regulation- like meditation or journaling whenever you feel these emotions rising. This way you are expressing them but not damaging your relationships. Take up new hobbies or goals. Achieving milestones can build confidence.
Navigating Boundaries- You can speak to your partner in the early stage of the relationship to understand their boundaries. This way there will be clarity and you won't overstep. You can set up some boundaries too.
For better interpersonal skills, you can proactively follow some rules- like active listening, avoiding overthinking, asking open-ended questions, and resisting the urge to seek your partner's approval.
About the awkward questions- it is important to understand that you might perceive them as awkward, but the person opposite to you might think of it as a genuine curiosity. As long as it isn't intrusive or inappropriate, there are no awkward questions.

Please take your family and friend circle into confidence and explain your difficult situation.

First priority should be to settle credit card dues since they have a very high rate of interest.

Remember the age old saying to cut your cloth according to your size.

Stop using credit cards since it cultivates tendency of reckless spending in the absence of rigorous discipline.
