Greetings!! I am preparing for jee 2026 and has a doubt in which book to solve in physics for mains and advanced level. Is it okay if I solve Cengage(Jee Advanced level ) book and after it Ashish Arora Sir Advanced Illustration along with last 10 year pyq's. (ASHISH ARORA SIR HAVE LAUNCHED TWO BOOKS IN MARKET ONE IS 5 VOLUMES OF PHYSICS AND OTHER ONE IS JUST ADVANCED ILLUSTRATIONS (700)???

You are on the right track. The books you are following are well-known, and many have succeeded in passing exams with their help. However, for better options, it is advisable to contact the subject teacher. Best of luck to you for JEE 2026.

Sir, which books are good for clearing jee mains and advance ...as my daughter is in 11th STD .she got 96% in 10 th without any coaching and tution...she prefers to self study...but confused which books are good for concept especially in physics...she has taken admission in fiitjee...but she is frustrated there .. please guide sir ...

Ans: Hi Alka. Your daughter is joined to FIITJEE and she is frustrated there? The reason you do not mention it. The big coaching institutes generally do not recommend books. They give their study material and notes. If a student follows it, then there will be no problem for him/her. Seems like your daughter is facing problems in Physics. Ask her to refer CBSE Physics book first then refer to other books in the market. Tell her to try the Physics book by HC Verma

Sir , I give jee mains 2024 60%ile Boards ( cbse ) 60 % and failed in maths Give jee mains ( april ) 80% ile Failed in maths compartment exam Decided to give improvement in all 5 subjects in 2025 Give jee mains jan _ 67 % ile My cbse boards are not going well I think I need to give improvement next year (2026) I know that I can give jee adv 2025 But can I give jee advanced 2026 if I stayed in cbse or should I change board to nios to give jee advanced 2026 It would be very ^100 helpful if you share your Wisdom .

Ans: Given your performance in board exams, particularly in Mathematics, I strongly recommend having a Plan B and Plan C instead of solely focusing on JEE, considering various factors. However, to address your query, here’s a brief clarification:

Your eligibility for JEE Advanced is primarily determined by the year of your first Class XII attempt. Since you first appeared for the exam in 2024, you are eligible to take JEE Advanced in 2025, but not in 2026. Changing your board to NIOS or any other alternative will not reset your eligibility, as the first attempt year remains unchanged. All the best for your admissions!

it would be very difficult to get into NIT or IIIT or GFTI at this percentile.
