Our kid is in class 9 he is not good in quant based subject and hence does poor in maths and difficult problem in physics. He is suffering from ADHD. He is very creative and is interested in earth science and cookery. He has taken science subject dropping maths. In india board is adhd recognised and would he get concessions in his 9 and 10 exam and what would be the best option in class 10-11-12. He is in icse right now

Ans: HI, Your kid is in class 9 right now. It seems that at this stage, he is suffering from basic problems related to his studies. Remaining poor in some subjects does not mean, he can't excel in the future. Apart from science, there are many courses from his interest point of view. ICSE syllabus is quite hard as compared to the state board syllabus. If possible, you can shift him to the state board to give relief from the excessive burden of a bulky and hard syllabus. After 10th, choose either Arts or commerce but do not opt science under any condition as he is suffering from ADHD,
