My name is sahana, I'm 21 year old and I'm studying electrical and electronics engineering 6th sem in NIE institute of technology."I am confused" 1. Core company or software company Which domain should I choose for current requirement . 2. What should I do if I choose software background. 3. How should I prepare for placements. My family is not financially stable and now it is my responsibility to take care of them so if I start my career i can take them to the good path, can you please guild me

Ans: Hi Sahana! It's great that you're thinking about your future and how best to support your family. If you have a strong interest in Electrical and Electronics Engineering (EEE) and want to work in industries related to power systems, electronics, telecommunications, or automation, then a core company could be a good fit. The software industry generally offers more job opportunities, higher starting salaries, and faster career growth. If you choose software industry, then focus on learning programming languages like Python. You can do various certification from online platforms like NPTEL. You can do DS from IIT Madras.
