Hi! I lost my job recently in workforce reduction and have been looking out for one. Recently i interviewed by a top MNC and the interview went amazing. Its been two weeks that there is no update or feedback on the interview. Aftee a week of interview, i called back to the recruiter and asked for feedback and they told me that i will receive it in another 2-3 days since she is on leave. I have contacted them again twice in two weeks and they havent responded yet nor replied to my email. The reason I am curious was because i have received a survey link for the interview. Do you suggest reaching out to HR again or ignore?

Ans: Hi Sir/Madam,

Given the current situation it's ok to do a follow up with the HR. Speak to the HR for more clarity. Sending the survey link could be the standard practice or possibly and automated trigger. It's always good to have an open communication with the HR and seek clarity.

All the best

Thanks

Hi mam , I am a fresher and i have recently attended an interview in an MNC and after successful interview they didn't reach me out . Then after a week i just followed up with the hr and she asked to fill an application form and send it with other educational documents and done some background research i think so, and again she opened a portal for job application in the career site and asked me to apply there. Its been 3 days since applied. So the response is not yet given what should i assume from this.
Ans: Hi Sir/ Madam,

The hiring process in large organizations can be lengthy and time consuming due to various processes and protocols.

Few steps can be considered-

Regular follow up- you can do regular follow up's in intervals.
HR receives multiple applications for one position and it may take time for them to screen the shortlist the candidate
Consider other opportunities in the mean time so you have the back up ready just incase if this opportunity does not fall in your favour.
Have patience and be calm. Interview processes can be lengthy and it may happen at times you may not get the appropriate response from the organization .

Please know that hiring processes differe organization to organization and could be several reasons for the delay. There is nothing to worry about it instead invest the energy in preparing for other skills/ interviews / opportunities. Continue to stay positive in your search and approach. If you don't receive a response within a reasonable timeframe, you may consider reaching out for an update.

All the best
Thanks

Gave 2 levels of interview at Eaton in starting of December 2024 and HR said that they will share the candidature status by mid previous week ( 11-12 Dec) but till now , there had been no communication. Could you please let me know what should I do here, should I call HR or send an email ?
Ans: As they indicated they would respond by the second week of December, it is possible that they may require an additional week to reach a decision and finalize their response. To follow up with HR about your application, please send a concise and courteous email, making sure it is brief and direct. If a response is not received within 3-4 business days, please initiate a follow-up call, ensuring that the conversation remains concise and polite. Emails provide the HR team with the opportunity to assess your status and reply with careful consideration, showcasing a high level of professionalism. Please ensure the email is sent today, as the response has already experienced a delay. And, continue to apply for jobs as you normally would through LinkedIn, the websites of your preferred companies, employee referrals, and other avenues, rather than waiting for their response. Maintain a record of the companies and job titles to which you have applied to prevent redundancy. MOST IMPORTANT TIP: Having a second / PROFESSIONAL email address is strongly advised, especially when looking for employment & applying for jobs, as even crucial emails may find up in your spam folder and you may miss them.

All the BEST for your Prosperous Future.

I have completed my msc in biochemistry n now doing internship but I am confusing about my future because I see this field don't pay me inuff for life even for future... N don't have more jobs in Maharashtra. I don't like production jobs but in Pharma only production pay much so what can I do .. Can u suggest me which job is high payable after Msc biochemistry
Ans: Hi Nandu,

Greetings!

Could you please let me know which year you completed your course and whether you are currently doing an internship or apprenticeship? An internship is part of the curriculum, where students gain practical training, sometimes with a stipend and sometimes without. After completing your course, you can opt for an apprenticeship, which typically lasts one to one and a half years and includes a stipend, usually split 50%-50% between the industry and government.

If you are in the internship phase, please inform me about the specific field you are working in. Initially, you may not expect a high salary, but after gaining expertise in your field, your compensation will improve. Typically, this takes about three years, so it’s important to focus on skill acquisition for a better future.

If your internship aligns with your field of study, I encourage you to continue and consider starting a medical lab or exploring opportunities in medical devices related to biochemistry. However, pursuing a career in pharmaceutical production may not be suitable for you, as it is a different field, and you may find it challenging to grasp the processes involved since you are currently inexperienced in that area.

Please share the specific field of your internship, and I would be happy to provide more tailored advice.
with regards
