Hi Sir, Need you help to identify the best college and good course looking at the future in 7 years from now. My son will do masters after BE. As per CET ranking, colleges based in Bangalore, he will get EC in CMR and New Horizon, ETC in BMSIT and DSCE, EE in DSCE and NITTE Blore, Mechanical in RV and BMS. His interest is Electronics, but since he is not getting in top colleges, he is ok to take Mechanical and then do masters in electronics. He will also get in Manipal Blore EC VLSI. Please help us to finalise a college or order of preference

Ans: Hi. Congratulations first. Opting for Mechanical and then doing a masters in electronics is not recommended. You didn't mentioned CET ranking (score) hence can't say about Manipal Blore EC VLSI admission. You can opt for ETC in BMSIT or Mechanical in RV/BMS.

Hi Sir, His CET ranking is 29000. BMSIT does not have ETC as per the recent seat matrix. So the new options are EC in New Horizon or CMRIT. Or ETC in Dayananda (DSCE) Or EEE in Dayananda (DSCE), BMSIT, New Horizon or NITTE Bangalore. Again his 1st priority is electronics. Since his ranking is not good enough not able to get in good colleges. Please suggest any one or order priority. Thanks for your support
Ans: Hi
Here is the order of priority you may think on it:-
1) EEE at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE)
2) EC at New Horizon College of Engineering
3) EEE at BMS Institute of Technology (BMSIT)
4) EC at CMR Institute of Technology (CMRIT)
5) EEE at New Horizon College of Engineering
6) EEE at NITTE Meenakshi Institute of Technology
7) ETC at Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering (DSCE)
