My son is 23 yrs old Engineering 1st yr drop out, doing YouTube, earned 15 lakhs till now But last 2 yrs he doesn't got earnings I am concerned about his career and future What to do He doesn't want to study either Please help
Ans: It sounds like your son has demonstrated entrepreneurial spirit and creativity through his YouTube endeavors, which is commendable. However, I understand your concerns about his future and career stability, especially considering the recent decline in earnings. Here are some suggestions to help support your son in navigating his career and future. Have an open and honest conversation with your son about your concerns regarding his career and future. Express your support and willingness to help him explore alternative paths that align with his interests and strengths. Encourage your son to explore his interests and consider alternative career options beyond YouTube. Help him identify his skills, passions, and values to find potential career paths that could offer long-term stability and fulfillment. Encourage your son to continue developing his skills, both within the realm of content creation and in other areas that could enhance his career prospects. This could involve learning new skills through online courses, workshops, or hands-on experience in different industries. Discuss the importance of financial planning and budgeting with your son, especially during periods of fluctuating income. Help him create a financial plan to manage his earnings effectively, save for the future, and prepare for any unforeseen circumstances. Encourage your son to network with professionals in various fields and seek mentorship from individuals who have achieved success in their respective careers. Networking can provide valuable insights, opportunities, and guidance for career development. While your son may not be interested in traditional higher education, there are alternative education options such as vocational training programs, online courses, or specialized certifications that can provide valuable skills and credentials for specific career paths. If your son is passionate about entrepreneurship, support his efforts to explore new business ideas, ventures, or collaborations that leverage his skills and interests. Encourage him to learn from both successes and failures and to embrace the entrepreneurial journey as a learning experience. Ultimately, it's important to support your son in finding a career path that aligns with his interests, values, and goals while also helping him develop the necessary skills and resilience to navigate challenges and achieve long-term success and fulfillment. Your encouragement, guidance, and support can play a crucial role in helping him shape his future positively.

Hello sir. I am 26 years old woman and i am unemployed. I am preparing for bank exams but yet not qualified any. I sat for SBI Clerk and didnt made it. My parents are saying that Bank is not a good option for women because of work pressure , transfer and working hours. Ans they have given me only 2 years else they gonna get me married. some of my friends got in bank one got in IIM and i feel i am out of track. PLease help me with this. i really am looking forward to work as a manager in bank but im scared of all this. Please guide. thank you
Ans: It's understandable that you're feeling stressed and uncertain, given the pressure from your family and the challenges you're facing. Think about other career paths that might also align with your skills and interests. This could include roles in finance, administration, or other fields where your banking preparation might be valuable. Identify where you fell short in previous bank exams. Develop a detailed study schedule that includes daily goals, practice tests, and regular revisions. Focus on your weak areas while reinforcing your strengths. Have an honest conversation with your parents about your career aspirations and the steps you are taking to achieve them. Explain the commitment and passion you have for working in a bank. Discuss potential compromises, such as exploring banking roles that have more stable locations or considering other positions in financial institutions that may offer similar career growth without frequent transfers. Focus on your preparation, and try not to compare yourself to others. Everyone has their own pace and path to success. Practice stress-relief techniques like meditation, exercise, or hobbies that help you relax and stay positive. Reflect on what you want in life, and don’t rush into marriage solely due to external pressure. It’s essential to find a partner who supports your career ambitions. By focusing on your goals, improving your preparation strategy, and addressing your family's concerns with understanding and communication, you can navigate this challenging period and work towards achieving your dream of becoming a bank manager. Stay determined and proactive, and remember that your career is your journey.

Money
Dear sir, My husband retaired from tyre factory He earned 1 Lack permonthly. We spend money for children education and we bought one house. Now my husband pension just 4000 and my salary 50k only. My two son are studying. How i will manage current economic situation. After retairement at the age what job he can do? Please give suggestion.
Ans: Current Financial Situation Analysis
Let's assess your current financial situation and explore potential solutions to manage it better.

Income Sources:

Your husband's pension: Rs 4,000
Your salary: Rs 50,000
Major Expenses:

Children's education
Household expenses
Housing costs
It seems that your combined income is Rs 54,000 per month. However, managing with this amount, given your expenses, is challenging.

Immediate Financial Management Steps
Budgeting:

Create a detailed budget. Include all expenses: education, groceries, utilities, and housing.
Track spending and identify areas to cut costs.
Emergency Fund:

Maintain an emergency fund. It should cover at least 3-6 months of expenses.
If you don’t have one, start building it slowly by saving a small amount each month.
Debt Management:

Prioritize paying off high-interest debts first.
Avoid taking on new debt if possible.
Increasing Income
Part-Time Jobs:

Your husband can explore part-time or freelance work. Options include consulting, tutoring, or clerical work.
Websites like Freelancer, Upwork, or local classifieds can offer opportunities.
Skill Development:

Invest in courses or training programs to enhance skills.
This can open up new job opportunities with better pay.
Utilize Assets:

If you have assets like property or gold, consider renting out space or selling non-essential items.
Education Planning
Scholarships and Grants:

Look for scholarships and grants for your children’s education. Many organizations offer financial aid based on merit or need.
Research online or consult school advisors for available options.
Education Loans:

Consider taking education loans if necessary. Choose options with favorable interest rates and repayment terms.
Investment Strategy
Mutual Funds:

Invest in mutual funds through a Certified Financial Planner. They provide professional management and diversify risk.
Opt for regular funds rather than direct funds. Regular funds offer professional advice and support from a CFP.
Avoid Real Estate Investment:

Given your current financial situation, avoid investing in real estate. It requires significant capital and is not liquid.
Actively Managed Funds:

Prefer actively managed funds over index funds. Actively managed funds have the potential for higher returns as they are professionally managed to outperform the market.
Long-Term Planning
Retirement Planning:

Ensure you are saving for retirement. Invest in options like PPF or NPS.
Consult a Certified Financial Planner to create a retirement plan tailored to your needs.
Insurance:

Ensure you have adequate life and health insurance coverage.
It protects against unforeseen circumstances and reduces financial burden during emergencies.
Final Insights
Managing your current economic situation requires careful planning and disciplined financial management.

Focus on budgeting, increasing income, and making informed investment choices. Seek scholarships for education and invest in mutual funds with professional guidance.

Your husband can explore part-time job opportunities to supplement the household income.

Tech Careers and Skill Development Expert - Answered on Dec 05, 2025

Career
Dear Sir, I did my BTech from a normal engineering college not very famous. The teaching was not great and hence i did not study well. I tried my best to learn coding including all the technologies like html, css, javascript, react js,dba, php because i wanted to be a web developer But nothing seem to enter my head except html and css. I don't understand a language which has more complexities. Is it because of my lack of experience or not devoting enough time. I am not sure. I did many courses online and tried to do diplomas also abroad which i passed somehow. I recently joined android development course because i like apps but the teaching was so fast that i could not memorize anything. There was no time to even take notes down. During the course i did assignments and understood the code because i have to pass but after the course is over i tend to forget everything. I attempted a lot of interviews. Some of them i even got but could not perform well so they let me go. Now due to the AI booming and job markets in a bad shape i am re-thinking whether to keep studying or whether its just time waste. Since 3 years i am doing labour type of jobs which does not yield anything to me for survival and to pay my expenses. I have the quest to learn everything but as soon as i sit in front of the computer i listen to music or read something else. What should i do to stay more focused? What should i do to make myself believe confident. Is there still scope of IT in todays world? Kindly advise.
Ans: Your story does not show failure.
It shows persistence, effort, and desire to improve.

Most people give up.
You didn’t.
That means you will succeed — but with the right method, not the old one.

Dating, Relationships Expert - Answered on Dec 04, 2025

Relationship
My married ex still texts me for comfort. Because of him, I am unable to move on. He makes me feel guilty by saying he got married out of family pressure. His dad is a cardiac patient and mom is being treated for cancer. He comforts me by saying he will get separated soon and we will get married because he only loves me. We have been in a relationship for 14 years and despite everything we tried, his parents refused to accept me, so he chose to get married to someone who understands our situation. I don't know when he will separate from his wife. She knows about us too but she comes from a traditional family. She also confirmed there is no physical intimacy between them. I trust him, but is it worth losing my youth for him? Honestly, I am worried and very confused.
Ans: Dear Anonymous,
I understand how difficult it is to let go of a relationship you have built from scratch, but is it really how you want to continue? It really seems to be going nowhere. His parents are already in bad health and he married someone else for their happiness. Does it seem like he will be able to leave her? So many people’s happiness and lives depend on this one decision. I think it’s about time you and your BF have a clear conversation about the same. If he can’t give a proper timeline, please try to understand his situation. But also make sure he understands yours and maybe rethink this equation. It really isn’t healthy. You deserve a love you can have wholly, and not just in pieces, and in the shadows.

Hope this helps
