Hello sir, I scored 95 percentile in Mhtcet and i confused in which branch to choose ECE/EE/CSE ? Considering that i have least interest in CSE...by choosing ECE or EE will it affect on placement?

Ans: Prefer ECE. But some facts / factors you please keep in mind (1) ECE is slightly tougher than CSE (2) Number of Core Companies for ECE, visiting the Campus will be lesser, compared to CSE (here you are taking little risk) (3) However, some IT-Software Companies prefer even ECE Students. (4) Solution is: You join ECE. Keep upgrading your skills in your domain from NPTEL, Internshala, Coursera, LinkedIn etc. and / or any other Certifications recommended by Faculties in your domain. By the time you enter into 3rd year, you will get a rough idea about the level of demand / job market for your domain, ECE (5) To know the job market for ECE, put job alerts (related to ECE / CSE also) in your LinkedIn Account (6) Whenever you get notifications of Job Alerts you have put, go through the JD posted by the Employers. Try to keep upgrading your skills accordingly till 4th year, whichever possible (not all). (6) As additional qualifications, try to get some Certifications on Software also in which you are interested. You might not have interest now over CSE but it can CHANGE any time later when you are in college. Depends. Be mentally prepared for both when you are in 4th year. All the BEST.
