hello sir i gave my pcb 12 boards this year and next year if i write math additional exam from the same state board will i be eligible for jee mains paper 2 b.arch? will there be any problem during josaa counselling as there will be 2 different certificates ? do SPA’s and NIT’s accept 2 certificates?what do i fill out in jee mains form now appearing or passed ?
Ans: Hello AK.
(1) You can appear for JEE (Main) Paper-2 i.e. B.Arch.
(2) There will be no problem in JOSAA counseling.
(3) As you are appearing in the subjects 'mathematics" this year, then please fill out as "Appearing".
(4) There will be no issue @ SPA's and NIT's admission if you score the required percentile in JEE (Main)
Best of luck to your upcoming future.

Listensir have people done like this i mean taking math as an additional subject and got into iit’s? also sir i called jee mains helpline number and they told i should select 12 passed option . what should i do?
Ans: Hello.
If you have called the JEE help line and were told to fill in the option as PASSED, follow them. But there will not be a problem even if you have filled in the appearing option. (Because you are appearing in mathematics for the first time)
Remember, this is your first attempt (for the January session). First, check your eligibility and score. If you feel there is any problem with form filling, then you have a second chance for a second attempt. Focus more on the JEE examination right now.
Best of luck to your upcoming examination.

Listensir do spa and nit’s accept two marksheets ? pcb marksheet from 2024 and math additional subject marksheets from 2025 ?? two separate??
Ans: Welcome back.
(1) For SPA (School of Planning and Architecture): SPA typically follows the eligibility criteria set by the Ministry of Education and may require a consolidated mark sheet or a certificate from the board confirming all subjects taken in a single examination session. If your Math subject is listed separately in a different marksheet from a later year (like 2025), it could be a concern for eligibility or consistency. It's always a good idea to directly check SPA’s admission guidelines or contact their admission office for clarification on this matter.
(2) For NITs (National Institutes of Technology): NITs often accept the mark sheet from the year in which you completed your final school examinations, but if you have an additional subject like Mathematics taken in a different year, it might be accepted as long as the results are clearly mentioned and the additional subject was recognized by the respective board. You should ideally provide both marksheets (if the Mathematics marksheet is from a different year) during the application process, and mention it clearly while submitting documents. For exact details, you can consult the NIT admission guidelines or their helpdesk, especially regarding whether a supplementary marksheet would be acceptable for a subject like Mathematics.
Note: Ensure that both marksheets indicate that they are part of the same educational course and that all necessary details, including subject codes, are provided.
