I passed my class 12th in pcb cbse board in 2024 , if I give additional maths subject board exam in 2026 from cbse ,am i eligible for jee mains and jossa counselling

Yes, if you pass the CBSE additional Maths exam in 2026, you’ll be eligible for JEE Main and JoSAA counselling that year. However, it is highly recommended to read the brochure published by NTA/JoSAA for the latest updates. Clarify this matter by sending an email to them for confirmation. Be very careful and responsible on your part.

Sir i have pcb in my 12 as regular candidate in cbse if I gave maths as additional subject as private candidate in cbse only maths exam am I eligible for jee mains and advanced and get admission in iits and sir , I passed class 12 in 2025 but if I give maths as additional exam then I will passed in 2026 then which year I will choose to fill the jee form and how many attempts I will give jee advanced

Here is a pointwise reply to your question:
(1) You are eligible to appear for JEE (Mains) 2025
(2) If you get cut-off percentile in JEE (Main), you are eligible for JEE (Adv) 2025
(3) If you crack JEE (Adv), you will get admission to IIT
(4) You appear for Mathematics this year to save your full year.
(5) No need to take a drop only for mathematics.
(6) You try almost 2 attempts for JEE. If you do not succeed in the crack, do not take a chance on the 3rd attempt.

Ans: If your daughter clears Mathematics in the March 2026 exams along with her other subjects, she will be eligible to appear for JEE Main 2026. Passing Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in Class 12 in 2026 is mandatory for eligibility. To further get it clarified, please also approach her school authorities and private tutorials. If a candidate has passed Class 12 exams from CBSE in 2026 but wants to give improvement in 2027 for Physics, Chemistry and Maths, then whether the candidate needs to appear in the practical exam also for the three subjects next year or can he give the theory exam only? Secondly, whether the better marks out of the two will be considered?

Ans: Candidates usually have to appear for theory exams. Practical marks are generally carried forward unless CBSE or any board specifically asks otherwise, and improved marks are considered in the final marksheet. However, it is strongly recommended to contact your school administration for more updates, as the CBSE sends the latest circular only to them.

Ans: Preference order may be: CSE @ KIIT > ECE @ JIIT > AI+DS @ Amrita. The final preference/choice may be yours. Visit the campus in person before making the final decision.

Sir, Board exam cutoff is must 75% above to get IIT OR NIT with JEE PAPER 2A PERCENTILE for SC student

Ans: As per our knowledge, 75% - For General Category and around 65% - For SC, or be in the top 20th percentile of your board, along with qualifying JEE Main/JEE Advanced eligibility rules.

However, Mechatronics/Automation at VIT Chennai is possible in Category 5, as 2025 trend estimates placed it around 95,500–96,500. For CSE-related options, try VIT-AP or VIT Bhopal CSE/CSE specialisations, likely in Category 3–5, since wider-access campuses show CSE closing trends up to about 90,000–95,000. Ans: At AEEE 2026 rank 14,222, CSE core at Amrita Coimbatore is unlikely, especially under Other State quota. Available 2024 trend data shows Coimbatore CSE closed around 6,000 (Home State / 3,000 (Other State), and CSE specialisations around 7,000 (Home State) / 4,000 (Other State), so 14,222 is risky for Coimbatore CSE. Better backups are ECE/EEE/E&I at Coimbatore, or CSE/CSE-specialisation at Amritapuri, Bengaluru, Chennai, Amaravati, depending on slab and round movement.
