Since you’re in your first year of B.Tech CSE, begin by building a solid foundation in computer science, focusing on programming (Python, C/C++), computer networks, operating systems, and databases. Additionally, start exploring cybersecurity basics through online courses (like from TryHackMe, Hack The Box, or Coursera) and learn about ethical hacking, Linux, and networking tools. Try participating in Capture the Flag (CTF) challenges to gain practical experience. As you progress, consider certifications like CompTIA Security+, CEH, or OSCP. It’s great that you’re planning early. Just take it step by step, keep exploring related fields like robotics if you enjoy them, and don’t rush.
