Hello sir, my daughter is alloted mechanical engineering in NIT Durgapur in jossa round and have chances of getting ecein csab round at iiit guwahati, iiit surat, iiit sricity, iiit Kottayam, iiit kalyani..and cse in tier 3 iiit s Rank 48171 Gender- Female Home state- westbengal Category- general. Sir what are pros and cons in mechanical engineering for female what are the scopes in future What will the best option for her we are totally confused She also got admission in Manipal data science engineering Please share strategy to make decisions afrom these options

Ans: As per a recent article/news in the Times of India, Mechanical Engineering has less demand, compared to other branches like CSE, ECE etc. Prefer CS (even in Tier-3 IIIT), followed by ECE in any one of the reputed IIITs. Wherever/whichever branch she joins, she should keep upgrading her skills to be competitive among other students/job seekers. All the BEST for Your daughter's Bright Future.
