Hello sir My son has completed his btech from IIT in CSE 2023 and didn't get campus placements.. he is learn cyber security course but didn't get placement still how he has to cover the gap in his career to enter into the placement as to enter into job the us showing hurdle n now he got fear to take job

Ans: Hi Anuradha,

In the meantime build practical experience by taking elsewhere internships or freelancing opportunities. For example he an consider- intern Shala, LinkedIn and Naukri opportunities.

Looked at completing few certification relevant to his field - for example CompTIA Security+ (Beginner level)/ CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker)/ OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional) (Highly valued)

Do networking - meet people / references etc. Join groups on Linkedin and look for opportunities and connect with people

Take up freelancing opportunities to build real time practical experience

Take up softskill trainings- build his skills even on his communication / creating first impression etc.

All of this help him build the gap and importantly enhance his skills and the utilization of his time.

Hope this helps

Thanks
Ashwini
