Hello Sir , I am 42 and was working for a public sector bank for the last 10 years . I am an Mba finance with degree in Statistics . Presently I am on a career break and pursuing a short term fintech course. Please advise future career options which suit my profile

Ans: Doing Executive MBA from one of the top B schools is a good option. You would have to write GMAT for the same. Else do some professional courses like the one you are doing and try to get job in those domains.

Hii .I'm a PSU bank manager. I have experience of 12 years. I m frustrated by the torture in banking these days. I m d only bread winner in family. I m slowly degrading my mental as well as physical health. Please advise me for some career switch option
Ans: I'm sorry to hear about the difficulties you're facing in your current role. It's crucial to prioritize your mental and physical well-being, and considering a career switch can be a step toward a healthier and more fulfilling professional life.

Reflect on your skills, interests, and what aspects of your current job you enjoy or excel at. Consider taking a career assessment test to identify potential career paths aligned with your strengths and interests.

Use your banking experience to become a financial advisor or wealth manager. This role allows you to work closely with clients to manage their finances, investments, and retirement planning. You can transition to a corporate finance role within a company, focusing on financial planning, analysis, and management. You may decide to leverage your banking experience to move into risk management or compliance roles, focusing on ensuring organizations adhere to regulations and manage risks effectively.

If you enjoy mentoring and educating others, consider teaching finance, banking, or business management at educational institutions.

If you have a business idea or passion project, consider starting your own business. This allows for more control over your work environment and schedule.

You can use your extensive experience to become a consultant in banking, finance, or business operations. Consultants often have more flexible work arrangements and can work on diverse projects.

Switching careers can be daunting but also rewarding if it leads to a healthier and more satisfying professional life. However, with your experience, it should be a fairly simple thing for you to do.

Prioritize your health, do thorough research, and make a strategic plan to achieve a successful career transition.

I am engineer with 16 years of IT experience and now a break of 11 yrs. But in 11 yrs I had been taking Quantitative aptitude lectures as a visiting faculty in various engineering and MBA colleges and also done Mutual fund certification. I haven't been siting but doing many things professionally in last 11 yrs(In my subject of interest as Maths, Teaching, Finance, Accounting, Wealth Management). I was thinking of doing ESG certification. What kind of role I would get if i am CFA ESG certified.I am looking for Professionally and intellectually engaging role where I can contribute to Society. Not a very NGO type( I have tried working with few NGO's)
Ans: I won't recommend you to go for ESG certification unless you are having a background of Env. Engg and Environmental Impact Assessment. The certificate course of ESG is costly also. I would request you to open your own academy ( if off line not possible then online) and go for only one subject. Let me know your age.Focus only on one subject. You have explored many areas and now you are perplexed. Here the questions are assigned to me through rediffmail. So second time whether your question will come to me or not is not known to anyone of us. Due to the policy I can’t share my email ID and Phone Number. But I would request you to follow me in LINKEDIN and send request so that I can accept you, then through LINKEDIN I can counsel you in the future multiple times. Through LINKEDIN I will be readily and easily accessible. I have counselled and changed thousands of lives. As long as I am there I won’t allow you to be defeated. Mind that always I am there with you like an invisible shadow to show you the right career path.
