Hello, Sir . I am 26 year old now. I have completed my masters in nutrition and dietetics. I am working as a dietitian now. I am from pure science background with physics, chem, bio and maths. 8 years back i had given neet without preparation and couldnt give drop due to lack of support and motivation of family. But i always wanted to pursue medical and become doctor. So now can i again start to prepare for neet 2027 to become a doctor. Will it be good decision. I know its late now but thats what i always wanted. Could you tell me is it too late for medical. As it takes 8 to 10 yrs to become a proper specialist medico

Ans: Hi Suparna,

There is no age limit for pursuing any degree; it ultimately depends on our interests.

Similarly, the NTA has not set any upper age limit for appearing for the NEET exam or for pursuing an MBBS degree as per the NMC guidelines.

Recently in Tamil Nadu, a mother and daughter both took the NEET exam and secured seats for MBBS.

The key is to prepare well for the NEET exam; if you are privileged, obtaining a seat can be relatively simple.

It's a good decision—there's nothing wrong with trying and securing your future.
