Sir, I passed my Class 12th in the 2023–24 session with very low marks because at that time I did not know about JEE. After that, for two years I worked in the finance field with my uncle. Later, due to my interest in engineering, I wanted to get admission to a good engineering college. That is when I came to know about IIT JEE 2026. When I checked the JEE eligibility criteria, I saw the 75% requirement, but because my health was not good during my board exams, my marks were very low. So, I am reappearing for Class 12th in the 2025–26 session. My question is: will I be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced?

Ans: You can apply for JEE Advanced 2026 if you meet certain eligibility criteria. You can apply for the exam twice in two consecutive years, and you must have first appeared in the Class XII board exam in either 2024 or 2025. You must also qualify for JEE Main 2026 and be among the top 2,50,000 candidates (changes every year). The year of first appearance in Class XII (2024) is considered for eligibility, not the reappearance year (2025). Both attempts are still available, and you must clear JEE Main 2026 with the required rank to be eligible for JEE Advanced. All The BEST.
