Ans: You can definitely land up a job. There are quite a few jobs available, you will have to search for it. Apply to banks, other financial institutes and companies.

Dear Vishal,

Your career path will be decided by your interest and skills and not so much by your commerce degree.

So, if you are good in accounting, then you can look for a job in finance.

If you are good with organising and coordination, then admin is a good option.

If you have skills for sales, then that is another great career option.

Suggest you re-apply to your old company and also apply to various other banks such as co-operative banks as well...Besides banks you may explore opportunities with CA firms and other private sector companies. Your banking experience will be of value to these companies.

Sir I completed my 12th in 2020 joined graduation due to family crisis during covid I could only complete first year of graduation and from 2022 - 24 I had to work in a shop to support family expenses. Now I have rejoined my graduation and will complete it in 2026. My question is how do I land in a job in IT field with gaps in my education. Please give me a solution sir .

Ans: There is no gap. A gap is when you cant explain what you did in the missing time

you have a perfectly justifiable instance where you helped your family

just do internships and project works with your graduation and you will be in a good place for placements

I'm a 23-year-old still struggling to find a job. I graduated in 2023 with a BBA in Finance, but I made a big mistake by not taking a job opportunity and instead started preparing for banking exams, in which I failed miserably. Now, I’m unemployed with a gap year, while my friends have jobs and are happy. I’ve lost all interest in government jobs, so I’ve started applying to private companies, but so far, I’ve had no success. Nobody wants to hire an obsolete product like me. I’m a worthless person who destroyed his own career. I wanted to build a career in finance but now I don’t know what to do—please, I need guidance.

Ans: You did not waste your time during the last 1 year and had been preparing for Bank exam only which itself is an experience. NEVER get demotivated by temporary failures. To gain experience, try to join any small or medium-sized company to begin with. You have mentioned you have started applying for jobs, but have NOT mentioned through which sources. LinkedIn is the 1st best source. Having a professional resume is important to get shortlisted at least for the interview and also you should customize your Resume for each job you are applying, based on the JD (job description) advertised. If possible & your economic conditions permit, join MBA-Finance in any reputed Distance Learning University such as IGNOU and / or join online courses, related to your domain. After conducting a research for 3-months on 'Resume Building', I prepared an eBook, containing 24 pages, titled, "What if you could create your Professional Resume without Googling". Some of the Tips I have reproduced below. Hi i m 38 yrs male married since last 7 yrs,my wife is government employee and we have shifted to different place due to her profession. Since last 3 yrs we are living in Indore City . Ans: I think main priority is your wife's Govt. service. So in every 2-3 years you need to move with her. So I won't suggest Govt. Service. You can do business of such type which you can run from all the places where she will be transferred in future. Sir, i had left a company in 2013 without resigning. There was no UAN at that time. Then i joined another company and received UAN number. In 2024 in the epfo portal i linked the epf of the company that i left in 2013 using aadhaar and brought it under my UAN number, but the exit date is blank. All other details are available like date of joining, balance in my account etc. I tried entering the exit date with all the details, but a comment pops up that only the company can enter the exit date as there is no records online. My company will not do it as i had left without informing. I am not working now. I am 54 years old, can i close my epfo account and withdraw the amount in my account, or will i automatically get all the amount on me reaching 58 years. Can i please be guided on how i can withdraw the amount without exit date

The exit date updation is essential before withdrawal.

You may visit the assigned EPFO office with supporting documents and discuss with concerned officers for satisfactory resolution.

Else you may file a grievance with EPFiGMS portal regarding the problem faced by you pertaining to the exit date updation.

You may also approach them on social media, if needed.

I am 27 years old girl corona made my life a waste. Just before corona I left an assistant job to go for regular studies then due to corna I got stuck being jobless.
