Ans: Congrats to you for joining VIT-C-ECE & appreciate your involvement much in advance to prepare for placement.

Here are the steps for you:

2) Prepare a draft plan of your Study Schedule / Time Management for your 1st 2-Semesters (1st year).
3) And one day, visit the college campus & spend 2-3 hours, interacting with existing students to get important information.
3) If not done, create & complete your Professional LinkedIn Profile about your Academic Qualifications/Achievements.
4) After joining the college, make sure you will maintain a decent CGPA (minimum 8.50) without any backlog(s)/arrears.

8) Please spend a lot of time researching about the courses offered by online platforms & don't be in hurry.
9) Time and again, seek advise from the Faculties of ECE Department and also approach students of CSE-Core & CSE-Specailisation students who will be able to provide a lot of tips to go for certifications in AI & ML/Software Development.
10) Take 1-full year i.e. your 1st year, just to research about job market trends on software engineering/AI & ML and to interact with senior students to get their opinions/advice.
