Ans: He would have prepared for the NDA exam (presumably) which is a few days away. Other than that he can try for technical entry for Navy for which he needs to give his JEE. Marks of 12th and rank in JEE will be the criteria for applying for this scheme. If he hasn’t appeared for the NDA/NAVAC exam yet, there are more chances available. Ans: It is important to have some proficiency in written and spoken English to appear in the SSB after you have cleared the written exam for joining your he forces. Please get him to join a class or do what it takes to improve his spoken and written English.
