During document verification after registration in mht cet admission process do we need the hall ticket of cet examination which we get stamped at examination centre??and also I have got 95.7%ile in cet through SEBC category which clgs should I target in pune for cse ai ml

Ans: For MHT CET document verification, the stamped hall ticket from the examination center is required along with your original admit card. During the document verification process, you must bring the MHT CET hall ticket, score card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, domicile certificate, caste certificate (if applicable), character certificate, migration certificate, and valid photo ID proof such as Aadhaar card. The Maharashtra CET Cell clearly states that candidates cannot enter the examination hall without the admit card, and it serves as a mandatory document for verification throughout the admission process.

With a 95.7 percentile in MHT CET through SEBC category, you have excellent opportunities for CSE and AI/ML programs in Pune colleges. Based on 2024 cutoff analysis, SEBC candidates typically have relaxed cutoffs compared to general category, making several top colleges accessible. For COEP Pune, the expected CSE cutoff for OBC categories ranges around 97-99 percentile, placing you slightly below the requirement. However, MIT Academy of Engineering (MITAOE) had CSE cutoffs of 93-94 percentile for GOBCS category in 2024, making it highly accessible. VIT Pune shows CSE AI/ML cutoffs around 94-96 percentile for general category, suggesting favorable chances for SEBC candidates. DY Patil Institute of Technology had computer engineering cutoffs around 96-97 percentile for general category in 2024, indicating potential admission for SEBC category. Other viable options include Vishwakarma Institute of Technology (VIT Bibwewadi), which offers CSE (AI/ML) with cutoffs around 90-95 percentile range, and private colleges like MIT WPU, Symbiosis Institute of Technology, and Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College, which typically have more flexible admission criteria for reserved categories.

The recommendation is to carry the stamped hall ticket for document verification as it is mandatory, and target MIT Academy of Engineering, VIT Pune, DY Patil Institute of Technology, Vishwakarma Institute of Technology, and other private Pune colleges for CSE/AI/ML programs, as your 95.7 percentile SEBC score provides strong admission prospects at these institutions while keeping top government colleges like COEP as aspirational choices in later counseling rounds. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

Or how i will able to enter marks of pcm as i will give pcm cet Manualy or what this is main issue 3) with 2 marklist will i get admission in enginering college or not will i face any difficulties or admission can done smoothly At the time of admission any isuue or not ? Please Reply THANKS AND REGARDS
Ans: Here is a point-by-point reply to your question-

(1) Application form (MHT-CET 2026): Enter and upload your combined PCM marks. That means the Physics and Chemistry marks from your PCB Feb 2025 HSC marksheet and the Mathematics marks from your Maths Isolated June 2025 marksheet. Do not upload only PCB or only Maths separately; both marksheets are required to show that you meet the required criterion.

(2) CAP application (after CET exam): When asked for the HSC seat number, enter the main HSC seat number from your PCB Feb 2025 marksheet. The Maths isolated marks are linked as an improvement/isolated subject, and during CAP you will upload both marksheets. Do not enter CET marks manually for PCM. The CET score is fetched automatically, and HSC PCM eligibility is verified using your uploaded documents.

(3) Admission with two marksheets: Yes, you can get engineering admission with PCB + Maths isolated marksheets. This is accepted in Maharashtra, and many students do it. As long as both marksheets are valid, you meet PCM eligibility, and documents are uploaded correctly, admission is usually smooth. Colleges may verify both marksheets during admission, but this does not cause rejection if everything is in order.

However, it is highly recommended to download the brochure from the CET cell website to get the latest updates. For more clarification, suggest visiting any ARC or any engineering college near your home and getting it clarified to relax.

Good luck.

My daughter failed in class 9th and now she has enrolled in NIOS secondary . There is lot of free time . What can she do keep herself busy?
Ans: Before I answer your question, Vikas Sir, I want to ensure that your daughter doesn't spend more than 45 minutes a day on her phone or other electronic devices. If your daughter becomes addicted, she risks eye strain, headaches from blue light, poor posture, weight gain from inactivity, sleep issues from late-night use, and eating problems. It can also hurt her mind by making her depressed and anxious (27% more likely), making it difficult to concentrate and study, making her feel lonely and isolated from less real interaction, making her feel low self-esteem from comparison traps, and making her stressed and irritable from dopamine crashes.

Even if both parents work, keep communication open to boost her confidence—know what she loves. She should study 4-5 hours daily using NIOS books/SWAYAM and Class 10 mocks with the Pomodoro technique (25-30 mins study, 5-10 mins break) to stay focused. Add 30 minutes of skills like coding/typing or Duolingo English if interested, plus 10 minutes of yoga, hobbies (gardening/cooking/drawing/poems), and walks/cycling for fitness and fun. Finally, join NIOS WhatsApp groups for doubts and help at home and track weekly goals with rewards. Don't force anything—let her choose what excites her most! All the BEST for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future!
