My daughter has scored 87% in 10th board from a ICSE school now she has choosen science stream i.e PCM with Compter Science. Please tell is it better to continue her studies with regular school or to switch to CBSE scool or to opt for dummy in order pass JEE exams or other competitive exams.

Ans: (1) To change to CBSE, as JEE is based on CBSE Syllabus (2) Avoid Dummy School as it may be blacklisted any time by the Govt. (3) You can even opt for Integrated Program in School for JEE preparation (or) join weekday / weekend classes in a Coaching Center nearby your house. All The BEST for your Daughter's Bright Future. She is telanted girl, My daughter, choses PCBM for higher secondry as she wanted to pursue jee. But as she is enrolled in IB school in. mp not sure about her choice. Should she needs to change school that offers cbse curriculum or go foe additional lear ing support like on line coachings apart from her regular school classes. Aldo she worries, is she doesn't score well in competition exams what would be her further ootions be like in abroad or inboard education.
Ans: For JEE, Siddiqui Sir, she should go to a CBSE school instead of an IB school because IB is too strict and she can't study for JEE and other engineering entrance exams there. Also, getting a good Percentile or Rank in the Engineering Entrances is necessary to get into any well-known college. When you pick out a CBSE school and teaching center for her, make sure it's not too far from her house and that the fees are reasonable for you. How well her online coaching classes work will depend on how motivated, dedicated, and smart she is when she studies (as you have mentioned she is a talented girl, this should not be a problem). If it's possible, you can even try to get into a UG program abroad by studying for the SAT. This shouldn't be too hard for her since she already has an IB degree. Please talk to your daughter about what she wants. And you should make your choice at least one year ahead of time, before she finishes 12th grade. Value addition information: She should appear for 5-7 entrance exams after 12th to have multiple options to choose the best among them. All the BEST for Your Daughter's Prosperous Future.

My son has got 91 percentile in the recent jee exam , he has next attempt in april, but i feel its difficult for him , can i know about other good colleges in karnataka , as im based their. interested in computer science and aeronautical degree, also advise some recent good courses for his career in india.
Ans: Hello Manoj.
Do not get stressed at this stage. Even though his score is 91 percentile in 1st attempt, he can do well in 2nd attempt. But from the safer side, ask him to appear in the Karnataka State Engineering Entrance Examination also. Even if he scores less in JEE on 2nd attempt, he may good college via the state entrance examination in CSE or aeronautical engineering as per your wish. For your reference, there are 10 colleges in India where you can get admission without a JEE score. To know more details, please copy and paste the following link into your browser- https://timesofindia.indiatimes.com/education/news/10-engineering-colleges-in-india-for-pursuing-btech-without-jee-main-2025-score/articleshow/118162587.cms.
There are no such courses to be called as recent. The choice of courses depends upon the interest of your son. Hence there is no need to hurry and get into panic at this stage. Let him appear for both exams first, Ask about his interests, and then choose the course accordingly. I would be happy to suggest you after knowing his scores in JEE+State entrance + his liking.
Till then, ask him to focus only on two engineering entrance exams. Best of luck to your son for upcoming exams.

If satisfied with the reply, please like and follow me, else ask again.
Thanks
Radheshyam
