Can you tell me best universities for BA in Journalism & Mass Communication for a promising future whose admissions are open now.

Ans: Xaviers Mumbai, Symbiosis Pune, are good colleges. BMM course in Mumbai university also is good. Go directly to the college you want and ask for admission. As there are cancellation still happening you can try if they have vacant seats.

Ans: Hi. Navneet. Congratulations on getting admission to some prestigious institutions in India and abroad. Two choices are there you put here, Dubai and USA. Both options have merits and demerits. From an expense point of view, Dubai is preferable to the USA. It is more advisable to complete UG from CS BITS Dubai and go USA for a master's degree for better choices available there.

I purchased this flat ar Rs. 19.5 Lacs , got offer to sell off at Rs. 43.5 Lacs. The advance money is scheduled to be paid shortly. I have zeroed in on a resale flat, for purchase, at Rs. 48 Lacs. How will I be taxed ?

Ans: For calculation of tax on sale of asset, date of purchase is important. Assuming it is held for more than 24 months and purchased before 23.07.2024 than tax will be charged on gain at 12.5% or 20% on gain amount after indexation (whichever is beneficial)

Hi, My son has got ECE in NITK surathkal and iMTech in IIIT-B (BTech was an option though). It is a dilemma on what to choose. NITK has a strong alumni and brand but the % of the placements in core ECE jobs are less. IIIT-B has near 100% placement but relatively smaller alumni and relatively new entrant. Ans: With a 98.7 percentile under the All-India (GOPENS) category in MHT-CET, your daughter exceeds the GOPENS closing percentiles of 97.68–97.88 across CAP rounds, making COEP Pune admission possible in branches where GOPENS cutoffs fall below 98.7—including Civil Engineering (98.9), Metallurgical Engineering (97.49), Instrumentation & Control (99.19), and Manufacturing Science (–) . Although Computer Engineering (99.85) and Electronics & Telecommunication (99.71) remain out of reach, core branches with slightly lower cutoffs are attainable.
