Hi Sir I have completed my 12th and got my results recently with 85% and I am interested to go into b.tech biotechnology is it good in the future and is there any scope or high paying salaries and companies pls help

Ans: Siddharth,

Yes. There is a good scope in Biotechnology. However, you have to follow the steps, mentioned below, to be successful in this domain:

1) List out around 10 top colleges for Bio-Technology with your location preference.
2) Check their Rankings / Accreditations / Grades.
3) Visit the websites of each University / College & Check their reviews on Google.
4) Know about Infrastructure / Internships Offered / Campus Placements during the last 5 years.
5) Know the Admission Process / Eligibility Criteria
6) Prepare well in advance for entrance exams/interviews/group discussions, if applicable.
7) Shortlist 3 out of 10 top colleges and choose the best & most suitable for you to join.
8) And, you should keep updating your skills after you join BTech / BE in Bio-technology, to be competent in the job market.

Hope the above information helps you.
