Dr Dipankar Dutta is an associate professor in the computer science and engineering department at the University Institute of Technology, the University of Burdwan, West Bengal.
He has 27 years of experience and his interests include AI, data science, machine learning, pattern recognition, deep learning and evolutionary computation.
Aside from his responsibilities at the college, he also delivers lectures and conducts webinars.
Dr Dipankar has published 25 papers in international journals, written book chapters, attended conferences, served as a board observer for WBJEE (West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination) exams and as a counsellor for engineering college admissions in West Bengal. He helps students choose the right college and stream for undergraduate, masters and PhD programmes.
A senior member of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (SMIEEE), he holds a bachelor's degree in engineering from the Jalpaiguri Government Engineering College and a an MTech degree in computer technology from Jadavpur University.

I want to do btech in robotics engineering or mechatronics engineering I am sc category students please help me with college with low fees

Ans: Government NITs have low tuition fees and offer scholarships for SC students (fees can be as low as ?10,000 - ?30,000 per year after waivers).

NIT Rourkela – B.Tech in Industrial Design (Robotics, Mechatronics-related)
NIT Kurukshetra – Mechatronics as a specialization in Mechanical Engineering

IIITs are also great for Robotics & AI, and they have lower fees for SC candidates.

IIIT Allahabad – B.Tech in IT (Specialization in Robotics)
IIIT Jabalpur – B.Tech in Mechanical with Robotics specialization

Robotics engineering or Mechatronics engineering are specialized field. You can do your B.Tech in CSE, ECE, Mechanical and then in M.Tech you can do specialization.

Ans: Top NITs (like NIT Trichy, Warangal, Surathkal, etc.) – Difficult for CSE, ECE, or core branches.
Mid-tier NITs (NIT Hamirpur, Jalandhar, Silchar, etc.) – Possible in lower-demand branches (Mechanical, Civil, Metallurgy, etc.).
Newer NITs (NIT Mizoram, NIT Nagaland, NIT Arunachal Pradesh, etc.) – Good chance for branches like Electrical, Civil, Mechanical.
IIITs (like IIIT Una, IIIT Bhopal, IIIT Ranchi, etc.) – Possible in non-CSE branches.
GFTIs (Government-Funded Technical Institutes like BIT Mesra, Assam University, etc.) – Better chances in core branches.

IIIT Hyderabad (Data Science & AI / CSE) – Difficult but try in later rounds
IIIT Bangalore (CSE) – Possible in later rounds
IIIT Delhi (CSE, but through JAC counseling, not JoSAA)
IIIT Allahabad (CSE, IT) – High chance
IIIT Gwalior (IPG CSE 5-Year Program) – Good chance
IIIT Jabalpur (CSE) – High chance
IIIT Kancheepuram (CSE, AI & DS) – Good chance
IIIT Lucknow (CSE, AI & DS) – Very likely
IIIT Pune (CSE, ECE) – High chance

If any one fail in 12 board exam in 2025 and if any one cleared Neet exam with 650 marks . Is this mark is valid for next year i.e.2026 for Medical admission. or otherwise have to give repeat Neet exam.

Ans: No, the NEET score is valid only for the year in which you appear for the exam (i.e., 2025 in this case).

CSE may not be possible, but you have a chance for core branches in lower-ranked NITs.
