80 marks obc/ncl in iat. iiser bhmp chances

Ans: With 80 marks in IAT 2025 under the OBC-NCL category, your chances for admission to IISER Bhopal are low. The expected cutoff for OBC-NCL at IISER Bhopal is 100–105 marks, and most other IISERs have similar or higher cutoffs for this category. Previous years’ closing ranks and marks for OBC-NCL at IISER Bhopal have consistently been above 95, with increasing competition pushing cutoffs higher in 2025. Even newer IISERs like Berhampur and Tirupati are expected to have OBC-NCL cutoffs above 85–90 marks.

Recommendation: With 80 marks, admission to IISER Bhopal is highly unlikely for OBC-NCL; consider participating in all counselling rounds and keep newer IISERs as backup options, but prepare for alternative plans. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
