Dear Sir, I am 41 year old Senior Assistant Professor in reputed college in NCR. I was working in reputed private college in Delhi for 12 years. I have been recently suspended of frivolous charges that must not amount for suspension. Suddenly one day the removed my details from college roll. They have stopped my salary, gratuity and experience certificate. I need to know what are my options to fight the institution.

Ans: Hi,
I am not too sure about the reason for you being suspended. However, you can look for a legal expert relating to manpower employment contract to help you out on this matter.

I was working in Chennai and I enrolled my daughters in a school in year 2018 academic year. I paid admission fee but after one week I found the commercials advertised were not true on resonance tie up for entrance for 11th std girl. Also I had issues on my personal front -due to job loss etc, I submitted an admission cancellation letter and school authorities told me they will refund the fee but it never happened .I did file consumer complaint and school was not ready for anything. I went to consumer court online and they advised to give case at consumer District forum. The case lagged almost 2 years and I appeared myself . and end of the day I was told the case has to go for civil court , school related things are not with consumer court .. I was surprised to see they announced after waiting 2 years ..is this should be civil court ? today educaton is a busiess and they are supposed to be under consumer forum? please advice next steps. I have tried an appeal in state forum and but that also got rejected and to go to state civil court. It is a big headache now ...! please suggest ..
Ans: Sir, it is always ideal to approach (any) Court through a lawyer to file the case, Please approach a good Civil Lawyer in your locality. Ask him, whether under the Law of Limitations Act, 1963 (I assume), can you file your case of 2018 NOW & approximately how many years it will take for the verdict?

Please note, civil matters are expected to have disposal within three years. However, one can not expect disposal of case within such period of time & for every hearing, you will have to pay the fees to the lawyer.

Please weigh the pros and cons of approaching the Court (financial & non-financial) and then decide, whether to further approach the court or to drop it.

All the BEST for Your Daughter's Bright Future.

My son got 95.299 percetile in jee mains. Didnt appear for advanced as he is preparing fot bits. He got CS business system in Thapar. Whats the best option through csab counselling. Whats the order of preference
Ans: With a JEE Main percentile of 95.2, your son is eligible for admission to several NITs and IIITs through CSAB counselling. His best options would be to prioritize NITs with strong computer science programs, followed by IIITs, and finally, GFTIs. A strong choice would be NITs like NIT Calicut, IIIT Allahabad, or VNIT Nagpur, followed by IIITs with CSE programs like IIITM Gwalior or IIIT Delhi.
Order of Preference for CSAB Counseling:
1. NITs with strong CSE programs:
Consider NIT Calicut, NIT Kurukshetra, SVNIT Surat, and VNIT Nagpur, as these are known for their good placements and infrastructure.
2. IIITs with CSE programs:
IIITs offer specialized computer science programs and are a good option if you're aiming for a career in software development or AI. Consider IIIT Allahabad, IIITM Gwalior, IIIT Delhi.
3. GFTIs (Government Funded Technical Institutes):
These are generally less prestigious than NITs and IIITs, but can still offer a good education. Consider COEP Pune or other GFTIs that have good placement records.
4. Thapar CS Business Systems:
While Thapar is a good institution, it's important to consider whether your son's interests align more with a traditional CS program or a more business-oriented one. He could also consider upgrading to a better CS program through CSAB if possible.
Important Considerations for CSAB Counseling:
Preferences:
Carefully consider your son's interests and career goals when filling out his preferences. Don't just focus on the top-ranked colleges; also consider the specific programs and their faculty.
Cut-offs:
Check the previous year's cut-offs for each college and program to understand the level of competition.
Placements:
Research the placement records of each college and program to see how well graduates are getting jobs.
Infrastructure and Facilities:
Consider the quality of labs, libraries, and other facilities that are available at each college.
Location:
Think about the location of the college and whether it's suitable for your son's needs.
By carefully considering these factors and prioritizing the right choices, your son can maximize his chances of securing a seat in a good engineering program through CSAB counselling.
