Ans: Hello,
first of all, you need to calm down & settle down your negative thought process. At least you are clear & honest enough to admit your mistakes. That's the first step towards success.

Decide your goal & make a road map to achieve it. Follow it diligently & avoid distractions that come along the journey. If you are unable to control your negative thoughts seek professional counseling. All the best.

Sir I belong to Pilibhit district of UP. I was an average kind of child till my class 10(85-92%).But in class 11 I chose to go for coaching to prepare for iitjee in kota. The atmosphere there was highly competitive,And I saw lot of brilliant minds there due to which I got into inferiority complex, with that my spirit and confidence went very low accompanied by home sickness and I severly got ill for a month. My syllabus was ruined and everything gone bad. I decided to continue my dummy school there and came back to my place and joined an online platform. But due to lot of distractions and OCD I finally failed in class 12. From 91 in 10th to failing 12th I have covered a long way down. Now I am having suicidal thoughts please guide me for my future sir??
Ans: Dear Friend,

Think about your parents, relatives & friends who are very affectionate over you. NEVER think of committing Suicide Dear.

To avoid negative thinking and negative about you, please change your lifestyle and start doing yoga / meditation daily. Your mind will feel better and relaxed.

Also please stop thinking that if you do not join IITs / NITs, you won’t have future. Nothing like that. There are a lac of Students who have been successful both in India & Abroad, without joining IITs / NITs

Simple solutions for you to be successful in your career.

1) Prepare for your 12th Board and appear again with full concentration / focus. You will definitely score good marks.
2) Prepare for some entrance exams for getting admission into any good college (in & around UP). No need to prepare separately for each entrance exam for BTech. Syllabus will be more or less same.
3) Appear for 3-4 State entrance exams of UP / Delhi. Ignore JEE.
4) Shortlist 10 top colleges of UP / Delhi. Choose the most suitable one after you get confirmed admissions from 3-4 colleges.

Hope I have clarified your doubts. If you need any other clarifications for you or have questions for anyone, post your questions (in detail) to me here.

Sir I have done partial drop for neet 2024, firstly I have joined in btech biotechnology and in 2nd sem I was unable to maintain attendance so I got detained but I know how dangerous thing I have done because in mock tests I scored well which gave me overconfidence but at main exam I was anxious and made mistakes in omr sheet and scored 360. So what to do? Can I take bba or btech biotechnology and I want to settle down and my father is worrying lot about my career . I am just at home without any work which pains me alot . What to do sir? I want to get rid off this depressed life and in future I will get jobs?
Ans: HI Yashwantha.
Partial drop, admission to BTech Bio-Technology, unable to maintain attendance, then detained, then performed well in Mock Tests (How! unknown), mistakes in OMR and scored 360 (In which subject, not mentioned). Now, you wish to go for BBA and settle down! Right now you are at home without any work!
Looking at this journey, it is obvious that your father is worried.
If you are not interested in Bio-Tech, why have you joined it?
It is better to focus on your interests and then choose a career. Choosing the course of interest will create interest in your life.
If you master your interest course, then there is no problem in getting a job or starting your own business.
Leave the depression, and focus on your interests. Learn it, master it, and get success. That is so simple.

If you are not satisfied with the reply, pl ask again without any hesitation.
If satisfied, pl follow me.
Thanks

my kcet rank is 1220 general merit. which branch can I get in rvce under Supernumerical quota. can opt for cse, is, aiml or ec. pls guide
Ans: With a KCET general merit rank of 1,220, admission to RV College of Engineering (RVCE) under the Supernumerary quota for highly competitive branches like CSE, Information Science (IS), AI & ML, or ECE is extremely unlikely. The 2024 KCET closing ranks for these branches at RVCE were: CSE (419), IS (657), AI & ML (530), and ECE (746), all well below your current rank. Even under the Supernumerary quota, the cutoffs for these top branches do not typically extend beyond the general merit closing rank, as these seats are mainly reserved for specific categories (e.g., economically weaker sections, physically challenged, etc.) and still remain highly competitive. For branches like Electrical and Electronics Engineering (closing rank 1,105) or Electronics and Telecommunication (1,240), you may be on the borderline, but for CSE, IS, AI & ML, and ECE, your rank is not sufficient. RVCE is renowned for its exceptional placement record, with CSE, IS, and ECE all achieving over 90% placements and top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, and Cisco visiting the campus. However, the demand for these branches means only top-ranked candidates secure admission.

The recommendation is to consider allied branches such as Electrical and Electronics Engineering or Electronics and Telecommunication at RVCE, where your rank is closer to the cutoff, while also exploring CSE, IS, or AI & ML in other top Bangalore colleges where cutoffs for these branches are higher and your rank is more competitive. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!

I'm a OBC 2A candidate and i got 5941 rank in KCET. Which best colleges could i get? I'm preferring CSE or ISE
Ans: With a KCET rank of 5,941 as an OBC 2A candidate, you have strong chances for CSE or ISE in several reputable Bangalore colleges, though the absolute top colleges like RVCE, BMSCE, and MSRIT are just out of reach for these branches, as their 2A CSE cutoffs are typically below 5,300. You are well positioned for CSE or ISE at colleges such as Bangalore Institute of Technology (BIT, cutoff ~9,300), JSS Science and Technology University Mysuru (~8,200), KLE Technological University Dharwad (~10,100), BMS Institute of Technology & Management (~13,400), Nitte Meenakshi Institute of Technology (~13,900), and New Horizon College of Engineering (~17,500), all of which offer high placement rates (85–95%) and strong industry connections. Faculty quality and infrastructure in these colleges are generally rated well, with modern labs, active student clubs, and regular industry engagement.

The recommendation is to prioritize CSE or ISE in Bangalore Institute of Technology, JSS Science and Technology University, and KLE Technological University, as these colleges offer the best combination of placements, faculty, and academic environment at your rank, while also considering BMSIT and Nitte Meenakshi (if NITTE accepts KCET this year) as strong alternatives.

Mvj college cse or cmrit AI&ML or New horizon AI&ML or New horizon ECE is better.
Ans: Nagaveni, Among MVJ College CSE, CMRIT AI&ML, New Horizon AI&ML, and New Horizon ECE, New Horizon College of Engineering stands out for its strong placement record, with nearly 100% placements in recent years and top recruiters like Google, Microsoft, IBM, Amazon, and Accenture, especially for AI&ML and CSE branches. The AI&ML program at New Horizon is well-structured, industry-oriented, and offers comprehensive training in machine learning, data science, and robotics, ensuring graduates are job-ready for the rapidly growing AI sector. MVJ College CSE also has a good placement record (average 90% for CSE, with top recruiters like TCS, Cognizant, Dell, and SAP), modern infrastructure, and is ranked among the top engineering colleges in Karnataka, but its average package and placement numbers are slightly lower than New Horizon. CMRIT AI&ML provides a solid curriculum and industry exposure, but placement data and recruiter diversity are less prominent than New Horizon. Faculty quality, infrastructure, and industry connections at New Horizon are consistently rated highly by students, especially in tech branches, while MVJ and CMRIT also offer good teaching and support but with less national recognition and slightly lower placement outcomes.

The recommendation is to prefer New Horizon College of Engineering AI&ML for its superior placement rates, industry partnerships, and strong academic environment in emerging technologies, followed by MVJ College CSE as a solid alternative for a broader computer science foundation. For btech in biotechnology should I go for kiit, Manipal Jaipur or amity noida ? Please advice
Ans: For BTech in Biotechnology, KIIT Bhubaneswar, Manipal University Jaipur, and Amity University Noida are all established options, but there are clear differences. KIIT’s School of Biotechnology offers 80–90% placement rates, a curriculum aligned with industry needs, and strong infrastructure, with top recruiters such as Nestle, GSK Pharma, and Zifo, and a significant number of students opting for higher studies. The faculty is highly qualified, and the campus provides excellent lab and hostel facilities. Manipal Jaipur is NAAC A+ accredited, NIRF-ranked (64), and boasts a 98% engineering placement rate, modern research-driven curriculum, and strong industry-academic collaborations, with graduates frequently pursuing higher studies in India and abroad. Amity Noida also has a well-equipped campus, strong faculty, and a placement cell, but its biotech placements are more limited and the program is ranked lower nationally. Both KIIT and Manipal Jaipur have strong research orientation and better placement outcomes for biotechnology compared to Amity.

The recommendation is to prefer KIIT Bhubaneswar for BTech Biotechnology due to its consistently high placement rates, industry-aligned curriculum, and excellent infrastructure, with Manipal Jaipur as a close alternative for its academic reputation and research focus. All the BEST for the Admission & a Prosperous Future!
