Sir I have done partial drop for neet 2024, firstly I have joined in btech biotechnology and in 2nd sem I was unable to maintain attendance so I got detained but I know how dangerous thing I have done because in mock tests I scored well which gave me overconfidence but at main exam I was anxious and made mistakes in omr sheet and scored 360. So what to do? Can I take bba or btech biotechnology and I want to settle down and my father is worrying lot about my career . I am just at home without any work which pains me alot . What to do sir? I want to get rid off this depressed life and in future I will get jobs?

Ans: HI Yashwantha.
Partial drop, admission to BTech Bio-Technology, unable to maintain attendance, then detained, then performed well in Mock Tests (How! unknown), mistakes in OMR and scored 360 (In which subject, not mentioned). Now, you wish to go for BBA and settle down! Right now you are at home without any work!
Looking at this journey, it is obvious that your father is worried.
If you are not interested in Bio-Tech, why have you joined it?
It is better to focus on your interests and then choose a career. Choosing the course of interest will create interest in your life.
If you master your interest course, then there is no problem in getting a job or starting your own business.
Leave the depression, and focus on your interests. Learn it, master it, and get success. That is so simple.

Ans: Hi
Thanks for contacting us again.
At a score of 400-430, you may opt for a seat in a private college but not in a Govt college!

After that I decided to take one year drop, so I went Kota studied in Allen Institute for one year, My father took a loan of 5 lakhs for me, but again I failed in second attempt 362/720(2023), came back home, enrolled in a private university for bsc biotech and along with it I again start preparing, now only 6 days left for exam & i have not touch my book since last 1 month, I studied hard for few months after second failure but then I quit studying I waste my time into relationship, porn, overthinking, masturbation etc. Now what I should do I know I will fail again in my third attempt but what I will do after that? Should I start prepare for UPSC? Should I do BBA ? Im totally confused about my future! ease someone help me should I take regular admission into some university? Should I do BA? Im totally fucked up, I have even tried to end my life so many times, I have even ran away to haridwar when I was in Kota ..but things dont happen according to me i always failed in anything I do...My friend now are in their third year they will complete their undergraduation & im here whining about my life.. even my parents have started to hate me..leave relatives...please guide me my mental health has been derailed by these exams...please help me ???? i dont jave even friends to whom i share my pain and from whom i should get guidance
Ans: Hello,
first of all, you need to calm down & settle down your negative thought process. At least you are clear & honest enough to admit your mistakes. That's the first step towards success.

Decide your goal & make a road map to achieve it. Follow it diligently & avoid distractions that come along the journey. If you are unable to control your negative thoughts seek professional counseling. All the best.

Sir I wrote neet exam and did not score well by doing partial drop in btech biotechnology and when I was in 2nd sem I got detained due to lack of attendance and after neet 2024 my life turned into traumatic situation by sitting at home and my parents are worrying about me . When I was starting my inter pandemic was there and studies got disturbed and my father have taken admission in inter college which was 30km from our house , so he thought there will be no offline classes and at middle of my 2nd year college started to take offline classes, by doing up and down I used to get tired and I didn’t care my health and got health issues after that my life got worse because my father had undergone eye cataract surgeries due to diabetes and that situation made in me to become doctor after giving even 3 attempts I am not expecting mbbs seat, and even I consulted doctor he gave me sleeping pills to get sleep and this neet 2024 exam is most traumatic experience in my life and looking for settle down fast and earn money to stabilise our financial situation, please give me advice
Ans: Hi Sashwantha.
Many problems are interrelated to each other.
Anyhow, you failed to crack NEET irrespective of any reason(s).
Sad to hear about the father's health issue. But related to health, nobody can help.
You have then been admitted to inter-college which is far away from your home i.e. 30 KM.
Up-down daily was a little bit difficult job.
Why your doctor has given sleeping pills to you, am unable to understand by me.
Now, think more practical way.
To settle down or to earn money, you must join some job-oriented certificate courses that will help you start earning.
Keep your mind calm and quiet to handle the worst situation that you are facing.
Take a proper/wise consultation from your family member/friend which you trust more.

If you are not satisfied with the reply, pl ask again without any hesitation.
If satisfied, please like and follow me.
Thanks

Hi, I am 56 with a take home salary of about 5L per month and expect to retire in 4 years. I have about 1.2 cr in PF+PPF and 4 properties worth 2.5Cr. Cash in hand 40L and equity worth 25L. From Jan24, investing about 2L per month in MF + Shares + others and wish to continue to next 4 years. Daughter is working and likely to get married in next 2 years (anticipate a spend of 35L). Son will join MBBS in 2 years with expected fee of 30L per year. Have no loans and well covered for mediclaim and term insurance. Am i covered for the expenses? Please suggest ...
Ans: Hello;

Your PF+PPF balance you can keep untouched so it may grow into a corpus of 1.6 Cr(7.5% growth rate assumed) + regular contributions over 4 years, at the end of your work life.

At your age I recommend you to resist temptation of dealing in direct stocks or even pure equity mutual funds due to the very high risk of volatility.

I propose you to put 30 L(6 month pay coverage) as emergency fund in ICICI Pru Liquid fund(Best returns on 6M criteria)+ facility of instant redemption upto 50K & balance T+1 working day.

10 L balance from cash in hand + 25 L of stock holdings could be invested in Tata money market debt fund(best returns on 1 year criteria). Both these funds have moderate & low to moderate risk profile respectively. This will serve as your corpus for daughter's marriage and grow for 2 years in the meanwhile.

The 2L investment per month which you have began from Jan-24 is expected to go into MF sip+ direct stocks+ other.

For the other investment you are the best judge but here again I would humbly appeal to you to avoid equity MFs and direct stocks considering your age and high risks associated with these asset type direct exposure.

I propose you to invest in equity savings fund instead which are less riskier then pure equity funds and can yield decent return too. I recommend two funds in this category with best returns on 5 yr criteria & AUM above 1K Cr. Mirae Asset equity savings fund and Kotak equity savings fund.

A 2 L sip into these two funds for 4 years will yield a corpus of 1.16 Cr (Modest return of 9% considered). This will fully cover the cost of education for your son.

The best aspect of your financial planning which I admire and respect is No loans, well covered for mediclaim, term insurance and investment in real estate.

I have given my opinion, ultimately you are the best judge.
