Sir, I'm currently pursuing my bsc biotech degree. (During pandamic it was in peak) but now it has no that much value in india. So I don't wanted to do my masters in same field due to the very low opportunity. Since I'm confused on pursuing my masters in bioinformatics or MBA in life science.I'm a only girl to lift my family hereafter. So I'm in confusion that which course would be good pay and have high opportunity in India. Have to build my own career. Could you hlp me to overcome from this question?

Ans: MBA is a good option which gives high paying jobs. Apart from that there are other options right from AI to Digital Marketing to Finance, etc which can give high paying jobs. Check which area you have interest in and then do relevant courses in that area simultaneously looking for relevant job.

Ans: I would recommend doing well at undergrad level and take up a research project in your hoours, complete it with full focus, and take up a job to gain work expereicne for 2 years and then deciding which program would be better.

Hii ,I am an Upsc Aspirant,going to give 6th attempt next year, for option B I am considering Masters from abroad , especially Germany, because of their low tution fees. I have already completed my M.Sc. on forensic science ,but seriously Indian education system sucks, Mostly Professors sucks, they are too arrogant to guide students, theh play favouritism from internship to refrence for job,there are poor placements in this field, Then even didn't help me and guide me to pursue my career further.Now I really want to know which field have more scope, My only aim after UPSC would be to earn money , Should I go for MBA or MS in Biotechnology? Which field have highest paid job?

Ans: Can try for both MBA / MS. See where you get a better college or career option and then take it up. Both options are quite different, you will have to do some research on career prospect in each of those areas before you decide.

I GOT A RENEWAL ON DEC/24 AND NCB 50% WAS ADDED WITH MY BASE INSURANCE. NOW I WANTED TO TAKE A SUPER TOP-UP OF NIVA BUPA HEALTH RECHARGE OF 90 LAKH . IS IT GOOD FOR MY FAMILY ? PL ADVISE ME .

Anything and everything connected with the market will get affected by market volatility. (ULIPs & ELSS too)

However for investors it is like a grand new year sale.

Continue your regular investments and also do lumpsum, if possible, at every sharp decline.

Only those whose target horizon is near should withdraw their gains from equity funds. They can begin fresh investments for some other financial goal.

Tks a lot for the clear answers to my queries regarding transmission of shares. However, I would like some more clarification on custodial account for shares entitled to C. Custodial account for C will mean a brokerage account in name of C under guardianship of B or an account in name of B but under some category called as Custodial accounts? Alternatively, can the shares entitled for C be sold by B as C's legal guardian and then the sale proceeds be brought in India directly in a bank account in name of C under B's guardianship? Thanks in advance for the support.

Ans: A custodial account for shares typically means a brokerage account held in the name of the minor (C) but managed by the guardian (B). This allows the guardian to oversee the account and make investment decisions on behalf of the minor.
Alternatively, the shares entitled to C can indeed be sold by B as C's legal guardian. The proceeds from the sale can then be brought into India and deposited into a bank account in C's name, under B's guardianship. However, it's important to ensure that all legal requirements and permissions are met, especially if the shares are part of a larger estate or property.

I am in the process of buying raw materials from different states for my manufacturing unit. How does the GST structure affect inter-state purchases, and how can I reclaim the input tax credit (ITC) on these transactions?

Ans: 01. All purchases, may be from different states, should have your GST number on it, so that your GST paid is reflected in GSTR-2B.
02. While filing your GST Returns, you can off set your GST liability with the ITC, as reflected in GSTR-2B.

Ans: 01. Yes. This transaction would be subject to Capital Gain Tax.
02. Under present provisions of Income Tax Act, you may opt any of the options (in case of Long Term Capital Gains), as under :
(a). Tax Rate 12.50% without indexation or
(b). Tax Rate of 20% with Indexation.
03. You may calculate your tax liability under both options & may opt for the tax regime, where tax liability is minimum.

If money is transferred to his mother (non earning Sr Ctz housewife) from Son's account, would the interest income on FD or SCSS investment made by his mother in her name be clubbed with husband's (retired Sr Ctz) income ?

Ans: No. Such income cannot be clubbed with the income of her husband, since the amount was not transferred by her husband to her account.
