Hi sir, i scored 92 percent in cbse 12th boards. How would you rate Shiv Nadar Noida and Jindal for bsc economics?.. and should i wait for DU results? Thanks

Ans: Shiv Nadar University (SNU) Noida and O.P. Jindal Global University (JGU) are both excellent private options for BSc/B.A. Economics, offering modern curricula, strong faculty, and good placements. SNU’s program is more quantitatively rigorous and research-oriented, preparing students well for analytics, finance, and higher studies, while JGU offers a broader, liberal arts approach with global exposure. Both are premium-priced and have selective peer groups. However, if you are also considering Delhi University (DU), it remains the gold standard for economics in India due to its legacy, academic rigor, strong placements, and highly affordable fees. Admission to DU’s top colleges is highly competitive and depends on your CUET score as well as board marks. With 92% in CBSE, you are eligible for all three, but your final DU prospects hinge on CUET results.

Recommendation: If you are confident about a strong CUET performance, it is advisable to wait for DU results, as a top DU college for economics offers unmatched value and reputation. If not, SNU Noida is the better private option for a quantitatively strong economics education, followed by JGU for a broader liberal arts experience. All the best for your admission and a bright future!
