Being a senior citizen and if you are not able to track the stock market on regular basis, i would advise to sell the equity portfolio as you are in distribution of wealth phase rather than wealth creation phase.

If you are looking for regular income from this money than you can eithert buy a HDFC limited bonds which are offering 8% interest to senior citizen and take annual payout option.

if you are looking for moderate portfolio than invest in Balanced advantage fund and start having SWP after one year to the 6% of the current value.

It better to have word with any financial advisor to design your retirement plan properly which will help you to enjoy you wealth in these golden years of your life.
