Tata Digital india fund direct -- Rs 500

Quant Active fund `direct growth -- Rs 1000

Mirae Asset hybrid equity fund direct growth -- Rs 1000

Axis growth opportunity fund direct lumpsum -- Rs 5000

I have invested my money in MF and I am continuing for last couple of years but am not seeing good growth so kindly advise me whether I should continue with same funds or switch over to some other fund. The funds are: 1. Aditya Birla Sun Life Equity Advantage Fund – Gr: Monthly 1500 2. DSP Midcap Fund - Reg Gr: Monthly 2000 3. HDFC Taxsaver – Gr: Monthly 1500 Also I have invested in SBI Midcap Fund Gr -- 70K for last 4 years so I would like to know whether I should be keeping in the same fund or change the fund.

Assuming you are a long term investor, you can change FOF to a mid cap fund. Other categories of funds looks okay

Ans: Difficult to predict the future. If tourism picks up then there is a chance for the hotel management industry to do well. But can simultaneously upskill your self by doing different courses that would help you in your future career.

Hello Career Gurus, I have a PGDBM which is pretty dated back to the year 2006. I find that the entire canvas has changed with the digital revolution making me somewhat out of place. Although, i managed to traverse successfully career-wise and secured management role but sometimes I face self-doubt whether I would be able ro sustain myself in this back-biting and nasty politics driven corporate world. I have jettisoned plans several times to go fof masters into enterpreneural management or data analytics. I am worried about the next step. Should I take a sabbatical considering that I have the usual middle-class constraints spelled out as obligation to family esp. ageing parents with my better-half playing stalemate on her commitment towards helping me and financial liabilities as well. What should I do ? Please suggest. Thank you !

Ans: You can always do part time courses along with your job and then scout for relevant jobs. A lot of certificate courses are available. Even top B schools do conduct short term management courses which is another option to look out for. Leaving your job is definitely not recommended. About taking sabbatical, it will depend on how will it affect your promotion in your company.

Hi My son from few days has abdomen pain and vomiting tendency. He don't eat due to the above problem due to which he has become very lean and thin. He has lost considerable amount of weight. We have consulted a physician and he has asked us to carry out SGPT test. The outcome of which is high and so we are very concerned about his health.His age is only 12 years. What should we do in this case?

Ans: You need to consult a pediatrician or Pediatric gastroenterologist. SGPT being high means the liver is inflamed which could be due to an infection like hepatitis or some metabolic issue.
