I am middle aged 50 years and married, having an extra marital affair with my married employee (35 yrs.) for 2 years. This affair turned up as true love from my side for her. We have spent most valuable time and close moments together. But now she is stepping back due to guilt feeling, but I am fully dependent on her for my emotion and cozy moments. This move is disturbing me a lot, means lot. Please help me. My personal front at married life is not balanced, have lot of fights, abusing and physical attacks. How can I convince her to be my sea of emotions.

Ans: The answer lies in your question itself.

You said - 'but I am fully dependent on her for my emotion and cozy moments' which already puts you in a bad situation.

As a man, you're not supposed to get all your good emotions from the girl. Right now, you are needy, desperate and clingy which will anyway turn any girl off.

So sort it out man. You can reach out to me for help.

Dear Anu, I don’t know how to start. My Age is 40. This is my second marriage. My first marriage was arranged and it lasted 6 months.  As I was in love we got divorced. We have one son who is 10 years old. Now the issue is my second wife and I have both betrayed each other. I caught her first having a deep love affair with her yoga friend. That fellow is married and we know his wife and daughter. She has started him when she was training for yoga and later they both started classes together. Meanwhile, I am in a relationship with a colleague. Now she is in a different organization. Although she has stopped it, I continue to chat with her. We are both struggling to come to a decision since last 9 months but nothing is working out. We both confessed; she is guilty, I am not. We've had a very rough time. Now she is at her mother’s home. My problem is that I can neither let her go nor forget her. She wants her freedom as earlier but I am not ready. So I am sad while I continue to torture her by asking past questions. I am worried more about my son. I am stuck so I end up bullying her. Please advice. I want to move on. I don’t want to be in relationship but i am afraid of taking decision. Sometime I feel miserable.
Ans: Dear PC, I don’t want this and I don’t want that is a childlike way of dealing with things; you will be stuck in that mud forever.

You have to want to either move on with your marriage or not.

If you choose to stay, you have to train your mind and as a couple go for a Couples Counselling to rebuild the marriage.

It will require forgiving; hard as it is, it will help both of you relook as to why you fell in love in the first place.

Sometimes, it is essential to hit the refresh button and look at things with a new perspective. And if you have decided mutually, to separate, do make sure there is no mud slinging or finger pointing.

A marriage is between two adults who are invested equally in it and there is no one person to blame.

Be graceful about this and make it a graceful end where you support one another.

Whatever you decide, always make sure your son is well looked after especially his mind and what he needs to know and understand.

Seek the support of a professional who deals with children growing up in families where the parents are separating or are quarrelling.

Either case, please DO NOT let the child suffer as this has long-term consequences on his mind.

I hope you make a decision sooner as every day not only makes it harder for both of you but for your child as well. Take care and best wishes.

I am married for last 23 years. I discovered that my wife has an extra marital affair for more than 10 years now. She confessed and said she'll move away, but she hasn't. In addition, I discovered that outside our marriage, she is in relationship with more than three persons at the same time, and always looking for sex. At times even with those who are the same age as our 20-year -ld daughter. There is no fun in being with her or continuing the marriage. Recently she left home after fighting with me and started living in a separate rented home. Kids are with me mostly but they keep visiting her. While I'm not interested in bringing her back, and that all my faith in the institution of marriage is now lost, what should be my approach in the remaining part of life? I'm not looking for a life companion now.
Ans: Dear MV, I can only imagine what you must have been through. But it's also nice to hear that you know exactly what you want to do.

This is possibly another phase of your life and it's imperative that you start to look at your life with a fresh pair of eyes.

What I mean to say is: If you could go back in time much before you married, what are the things that still excite you?

Any hobbies, any professional pursuits?

This is the time to focus very strongly on building a good NOW and a fine future which means you need to pay attention to what is it that fires and fuels you as an individual.

Also reconnect with old friends and build new connections solely from the point of view of a social circle.

This will engage you with fresh idea, thoughts and this energy also helps you parent your children better.

All in all, when you are happy, your children also send back the same vibes to you.

The past cannot be changed and there is no point going back especially because you have decided to move on.

Then move on with a giant powerful stride by focusing on creating, building something new as it you can fill it like a new canvas and share it with your children as well.

Do what it takes to have a positive outlook in life; friends, work, hobbies, thoughts...let each of these be a choice that you make so that you always be in a positive frame of mind.

When, you do feel down and out, allow it BUT remind yourself that you have chosen this path and that you will come out strong no matter what.

Wishing you a wonderful life filled with strength and joy!

Hi, I have been married since 2011 and have a son aged 9 yrs. My wife managed her professional career as well as home. I trusted her to the fullest and allowed her to go out of town alone for work purpose. However in 2017, my wife had an affair with her senior working in bank and it was physical relationship too. It lasted for almost 1.5 yr untill I caught her in August 2018. When confronted she did not had proper justification for doing such gross thing and tried too blame me. Since than she has no contact with that person and even she filed a complain in the office against that person for stalking. She is remorseful and shameful for her act, but i dont feel any attachment towards her. I am still continuing in marriage with mental trauma of affair. What should i do with marriage now?
Ans: Dear Saurav

Discovering that your wife has been unfaithful can be a traumatic experience, and it's understandable that you may be feeling hurt, angry, and betrayed. It's important to prioritize your own well-being and emotional health during this time.

Here are some steps that you can take to help you navigate this situation:

Seek support: Consider talking to a therapist, a trusted friend or family member, or a support group for individuals who have experienced infidelity. It's important to have someone to talk to who can provide a listening ear and a safe space for you to express your emotions.

Communicate: If you want to work on your relationship with your wife, it's important to communicate openly and honestly about your feelings. Let your wife know how her actions have affected you and what you need in order to move forward.

Set boundaries: It's important to set clear boundaries with your wife regarding what is and isn't acceptable behavior. If you choose to work on your relationship, make sure that your wife is willing to take responsibility for her actions and work towards rebuilding trust.

Consider counseling: If you and your wife want to work on your relationship, consider couples counseling. A trained therapist can help you and your wife communicate effectively and work through any underlying issues that may have contributed to the infidelity.

Take time to reflect: Consider what you want for your future and whether or not you are willing to work on your relationship. It's important to make a decision that feels right for you and your well-being.

Don't blame yourself: It's important to remember that your wife's infidelity is not your fault. While it's natural to feel responsible or to question what you could have done differently, ultimately the decision to cheat was your wife's alone.

It's important to acknowledge your own feelings and to take care of yourself during this time. With time and support, it's possible to heal and move forward from the trauma of infidelity. Ultimately, the decision about what to do with your marriage is up to you and your wife, and it's important to make a decision that feels right for both of you.

100 crores , 10 years mai kaise kamaye.
Ans: Earning 100 crores in 10 years is an ambitious goal that would require careful planning, strategic investments, and potentially taking on significant risk. Here are some avenues you could consider:

Entrepreneurship: Starting and scaling a successful business can generate substantial wealth over time. Identify a lucrative market opportunity, develop a robust business plan, and execute it with determination and perseverance.
Stock Market: Investing in high-growth stocks or equity mutual funds with a long-term horizon can potentially yield significant returns. However, this approach comes with risks and requires thorough research and diversification.
Real Estate: Investing in real estate properties in rapidly growing markets or commercial ventures can offer substantial returns over a decade. However, this avenue requires substantial initial capital and entails risks associated with market fluctuations.
Alternative Investments: Explore opportunities in alternative asset classes such as private equity, venture capital, or cryptocurrency. These investments often carry higher risk but can yield substantial returns if successful.
Diversification: Consider diversifying your investments across multiple asset classes to spread risk and maximize potential returns.
Achieving such a lofty financial goal necessitates careful consideration of risk, market conditions, and personal circumstances. Consulting with financial experts or Certified Financial Planners can provide valuable insights and guidance tailored to your specific situation and goals.

I am 68year old Pensioner. Last month I sold my house property and earned around Rs50lacs. I w am planning to gift the entire amount to my son in order to get tax exemption. My son is planning to utilise the amount to repay part of his housing loan from HDFC, probably during September 2025 . Now (1)Does he has to pay IT for this amount as he will be spending only in laterhalf of 2025? (2) Instead, if I invest this amount in LTCG or NHAI funds, do I have to pay any tax for this total amount this year?
Ans: Your decision to gift the proceeds from selling your house to your son reflects a heartfelt gesture of support and love. As you navigate the tax implications, it's essential to consider the timing and nature of the transaction.

Regarding your first question, your son won't be liable to pay income tax on the gifted amount until he utilizes it, typically in September 2025. This postpones the tax liability until the funds are actually put to use.

Exploring alternative options, such as investing in Long Term Capital Gains (LTCG) or NHAI funds, could potentially offer tax benefits. However, it's crucial to assess the tax implications and investment suitability carefully. While these avenues may provide tax advantages, it's essential to evaluate their risk-return profile and alignment with your financial goals.

Consulting a Certified Financial Planner can provide clarity on the tax implications and help you make informed decisions aligned with your financial objectives. Remember, every financial choice carries its own set of considerations, and seeking professional guidance can illuminate the path towards wise financial stewardship.

I am planning to invest 50k/ month as Sip, for 20+ year investing horizon, Can u please suggest me funds in mf.. Goal: wealth creation
Ans: For long-term wealth creation through SIPs, it's essential to select mutual funds with a proven track record of delivering consistent returns and managing risk effectively. Here are some categories of mutual funds that you may consider:

Large Cap Equity Funds: These funds invest in large, well-established companies with stable growth prospects. They offer relatively lower risk and can provide steady returns over the long term.
Multi Cap Equity Funds: These funds have the flexibility to invest across companies of various market capitalizations, providing diversification and potential for higher returns.
Mid Cap and Small Cap Equity Funds: These funds focus on mid-sized and small-sized companies with high growth potential. While they carry higher risk, they also offer the possibility of generating substantial returns over the long term.
Equity Index Funds: These funds aim to replicate the performance of a specific stock market index, such as the Nifty 50 or Sensex. They offer low expense ratios and can be suitable for investors seeking market returns with minimal active management.
When selecting specific mutual funds within these categories, consider factors such as the fund's historical performance, expense ratio, fund manager's track record, and investment philosophy.

It's essential to diversify your SIP investments across multiple funds to spread risk and maximize potential returns. Additionally, regularly review your portfolio and make adjustments as needed to ensure it remains aligned with your financial goals and risk tolerance.

Before making any investment decisions, I recommend consulting with a Certified Financial Planner who can provide personalized advice tailored to your unique financial situation and goals.

Dear Sir, I purchased a shop in October 2022 . I paid the required amount as declared in registeration papers ( stamp duty, registeration , sale deed etc. ) However, the builder addiotnally asked for Rs. 57,000/- towards GST to be paid in cash. At the time of registeration I paid only Rs. 50,000/- in cash. Thats why the builder didint issue any GST invoice. When I paid the balance Rs. 7,000/-, the builder issued a hand written letter certifying that Rs. 7,000/- only have been received towards GST ( and not Rs. 57,000/- which I actually paid). He didi not even mentioned his GST number in that letter. There is no GST invoice from any government deptt. My questions is, whether the builder can issue a hand written GST invoice without mentioning his GHST number ??. As far as I know, all GST amounts are are paid to the Givernment and not any any individual.
Ans: It's concerning that the builder issued a handwritten letter for GST payment without providing an official GST invoice or mentioning their GST number. According to GST regulations, all transactions involving GST must be accompanied by a valid GST invoice issued by the registered supplier, containing their GST number.

In this case, the absence of a proper GST invoice raises questions about the legitimacy of the transaction and whether the GST amount was appropriately accounted for and remitted to the government. Handwritten letters without proper documentation may not suffice as valid proof of GST payment.

To address this issue, I recommend seeking clarification from the builder regarding the absence of a formal GST invoice and their GST registration details. If the builder is registered under GST, they should be able to provide a proper GST invoice with their GST number for the amount paid. If they fail to do so or provide insufficient documentation, it may be prudent to consult with a legal advisor or tax expert to explore further steps to ensure compliance with GST regulations and protect your interests.

Hi Sir, I am planning to buy crypto tokens in FY 2023-24. As per the tax law, I have to pay 1% TDS which will be debited by the crypto exchange. when I sell my crypto tokens in any of the subsequent financial years, I will have to pay 30% tax on the profit (plus surcharge). I wanted to know how will this 1 % surcharge be adjusted when I sell my cryptos in coming years? Or will I have to pay 1% this financial year and additional 30% taxes (plus surcharge) when I sell my cryptos. Kindly clarify the matter. I look forward to your response.
Ans: Your inquiry reflects a responsible approach to understanding the tax implications of investing in cryptocurrencies. The 1% TDS (Tax Deducted at Source) levied by the crypto exchange is an advance tax payment, akin to a prepayment of your tax liability on the profit from cryptocurrency transactions.

When you sell your crypto tokens in subsequent financial years, the 1% TDS already deducted will be adjusted against your final tax liability. Therefore, you won't have to pay the 1% TDS again when you sell your cryptos.

However, it's important to note that the profit from cryptocurrency transactions will be subject to a 30% tax (plus surcharge) when you sell them in the future. This tax will be calculated on the gains made from your crypto investments, after deducting any allowable expenses or losses.

To ensure compliance with tax regulations and maximize your tax efficiency, consider consulting with a tax advisor or a Certified Financial Planner. They can provide personalized guidance based on your financial circumstances and help you navigate the complexities of cryptocurrency taxation.
