Hi Sir, I am Vitthal 39 Year old I have a monthly in hand salary of 69,000 INR. I have a Home Loan outstanding of Rs 25,00,000 and EMI on That Rs 24000 Rate of 9.00%. My monthly Household expenses Rs 20,000. I Invest MF SIP 3000/Month, PPF 1000/month , Sukanya Samruddhi 1000/Month, NPS 4500/month from Last Two years . Rest of above my monthly saving is rs 16000 to 17000. Please advice Should i repay Home Loan or invest in MF SIP ? which is better strategy?

Ans: Hello;

Home Loan repayment is being taken care through EMI. Claim IT deduction for the same as per tax provisions.

Now the excess investible fund you have should be deployed as follows:
MF SIP: 7 K per month + 3 K initial
NPS: 7 K per month+4.5 K initial
Rest amount should be divided equally between SSY and PPF as additional investment above 1 K per month currently.

If you get any lumpsum such as bonus then you may use it to prepay the home loan every year.

Recently, we had an Arranged Marriage after my Wife had amicably broken up from a Long Term Relationship, due to various Reasons. But she's still in touch with her Ex Boyfriend, they both are "Just Friends" now. Her Ex Boyfriend is getting Married, next Month. It is a Destination Wedding in another State. He has invited my Wife to his Wedding. My Wife wants to attend his Wedding, but I don't want to allow her. So, outrightly Refused to give her Permission to go for attending the Wedding of her Ex Boyfriend. My Wife got upset & called me "Insecure". Now, she's not talking with me properly & being Emotionally Distant, but she's still insistent upon going to attend the Wedding of her Ex Boyfriend. Now I don't understand whether my Wife still has any Feelings for her Ex Boyfriend or am I being Unreasonable, here?
